Both Dats and Z are awesome and their ice time is so close that it really makes no difference. Until Franzen starts getting more ice time then either of them, my concern is just not there.

And that's the way a PK should be. the PP must be elaborate to elude a good aggressive simple PK, but the PK itself gets terrible for the Wings when they scramble and try to force too much. Tootoo should be on the PK with Helm when he gets back and then Filppula, Dats, Z and Abdelkader should rotate the other PK line throwing in Eaves and Miller when the top guys have been out too much. Oh, and i can't stress this point enough....lose Quincey.

He's an 18 year old kid that's already a fan favorite in a city with a lot of up and coming stars...how do you not get excited? It wasn't a series clinching goal like Stevie Y's against the Blues (one of the best goals ever), but hey...AT LEAST HE DIDN'T DANCE AROUND HIS STICK!!! OMG, my stick is like so on fire. Here's the biggest problem with the Wings PP: If you're gonna get in the way of Howard's line of sight to the puck, you better block it. If not, get the hell out of the way and let him see it. 3 things will improve in turn: The PK, Howards save % and GAA.

Come on dude....it's the Wild. Look at their Capgeek and you'll see why they have no depth. Gilbert for $4mil, Granlund inks a $3.25mil or something deal before he even plays an NHL game. 5 others over $6 mil and 3 of those are over $7 mil. Depth also costs money.
