helm and mursak with a strong shift together. good to see.

sounds like a fairly reasonable request. the wings are getting pucks to the net, but mostly from crappy angles. if they're gonna continue that approach, atleast get someone to deflect one or crash the net with more authority.

finally the refs send someone to the box WITH homer instead of just raping the wings PP. start the 3rd with a goal?? that would be nice. NHL 11 time.

he's looked tired for about 10 games now. no patented Z move off the side boards for quite some time. i really hope the wings lock up 2nd in the west and sit Z for the last couple games. and as i'm posting this, Z almost gets one off his move...

wings are a 3rd period team. during the 2nd we all may as well do the dishes or take a dump. go get some nachos if you're at the joe.

yeah that combo looked alot better last shift. miller looks a little slow the last couple games. probably sick and the wings can't sit anyone due to "staffing shortages"

abdelkader looks very out of place on the top line.

wings took foot off the gas and howard had to stop more than 5 in a period.....result = goal canucks.

i must have missed that shift. there's been a mess of line combos. alain vineaut (spelling?) probably already said f*** it as far as match-ups go.

pretty good period by the wings. if they keep the shots to about 5 per period like in the 1st then i'm feeling pretty good about howard being in net. helm and mursak should be paired together.

helm is the man. plain and simple.

canucks getting away with alot of extras after the whistle. and then the wings get a pretty lame penalty.

the wings have been outscoring teams to win cause howard has been horribly inconsistent and not dependable. 2.79 GAA and .908 save % is nothing to get excited about. less than 2 GAA and 92% is something to get excited about. i hope McCollum finishes strong and pushes for the starter job next year. my faith in howard is expended. i'd feel better having joey mac finish the better part of the season and playoffs at this point.

howard is the most inconsistent goalie in the NHL. i blamde the team physician. get jimmy on the high cholesterol diet....maybe a few pounds added will make him less of a swiss cheese goalie and he'll be a little squishier and quit giving up HUGE rebounds.
