i think bert's got a chubby for franzen. those 2 move the puck together really well and flip has been playing great too. look at the pass flip made on franzens 2nd goal last night...love the 2nd line.

this is draper's last season as a wing. he will retire. i think he probably realized like the rest of us that his career was over 2 years ago. the grind line was bad ass though. they were awesome for the wings for quite a while and were instrumental in the first 3 cups. time for helm and abby and the other young guys to take over.

i hope the wings trade ericsson. i like meech and would love for him to be the extra on the wings that fills in on F or D. he's better than ericsson on D anyways. i'm gonna hopefully go cheer him on against the mooses on the 15th or 16th in winnipeg anyways. good to know there's another good player to help the griffins kick some moose ass.

smid and whitney wouldn't be 1st pair on alot of teams, but with all the ice time they're getting, it has worked to their advantage. they are now both very solid NHL dmen. the rest of their d corps is nothing to get excited about, but those 2 are really good. as for eberle's goal, that was sick. maybe the nicest 1st NHL goal ever. and that includes lemieux's 1st goal.

top 15 sounds good. horcoff as a captain in the NHL is embarrasing though. he's a 2nd/3rd line player on a good team. guess that's why the oil finished dead last in the league last year.

exactly. and his rank of 19th best player in the NHL as compiled by TSN should insult him. he's top 10 in the league. getz is a ******* beast! horcoff on the other hand is coming off his worst NHL season, and now there's pressure of him being the captain of a team that now has the likes of eberle, pajaarvi and hall coming up. he will fall off the grid very quick if he doesn't get whatever game he had back.

it's funny how all the critics and fans from other teams knock the wings so hard and say they're old and s*** and their time is at an end...blah, blah, blah and it's the "Pens time"...but every year, the panels go with the safe and consistent bet and take the wings. i called wings over bruins in 6, but their prediction sounds good. i like all their predictions except the norris. nick goes out on top. norris, stanley and conn smythe if dats, Z, or franzen don't win it.
