dude...watch role models and you'll change your idea about sean william scott getting the lead role. he's gonna be a hockey player that can only fight. the only other guys you could offer that role to are adam sandler and ashton kucher... and sean william scott has already worked with kevin smith. jay and silent bob stike back to name 1. jason mewes better be a large part of that supporting cast. seth rogan should get a part in the movie too. missed this before i posted. you know about him too i see.

yeah i guess you're right...but atleast the caps won't cruise throught their division as easy as the past few years now that there's another atleast legit team in the southeast. the caps defense is atrocious and the better the teams in the east get, the more regular the caps are gonna look. look back to the playoffs and their 1st round exit...

dats, Z, franzen and flip (possibly huds) will be around for quite a while yet. as for prospects...nyquist and tatar may be hovering around the top 6 within 2-3 years if the wings brass' predictions hold out. i can't wait to see nyquist in a wings jersey.

the bolts are officially #3 favorite team behind the wings (overwhelming favorite) and the hawks (sorry guys). stevie Y is going about being a GM the same way he went about being a player. learn key elements of success from mentors like lemaire, bowman and holland and apply them to the game. he's already turned the team around in 2 months. TB finishes 3rd in east this year. that top 6 is gonna look real good with conolly in the mix in a year or 2.

exactly. there's a huge difference between Z, mule and hossa playing until they're 40 or worst case shaving 2 years off their career and kovy playing until he's 44. if they all play to the age of 38 then 3 of them shave 2 years off of their contracts and kovy shaves 6 years off, which would only pay him 3.5 mil for the last 6 of that BS contract. kovalchuk will hang em' up at 38 and walk into the hall. cut the 44 s***. stupid devils penguins :!:

big difference though is Z's contract expires before he can collect an old age pension. what player like kovalchuk plays past the age of 40? if the NHL investigated pronger's contract, this one should be on the table in front of the board pretty soon. this deal can't be legit to the NHL brass. next we're gonna see kessel signed until the age of 50 by burke...

i'd be 100% fine with maltby in grand rapids. his time with the wings is done. as much as i like lilja, he wants a bigger role which won't be found for him on the wings and i wanna see kindl full time in the winged wheel. as for modano, i've grown impatient with waiting for this s***. sign helm and abby already and give ritola playing time on the 3rd line.

economy in Winnipeg when the Jets left was the s***s. i have lived in Winnipeg my whole life and was at the Jets farewell and i can honestly tell you that this city has changed drastically since the Jets left. it's also the pretty much on par Canadian dollar that has Canadians believing that teams can be supported. when the jets left, the dollar was s*** and it prevented a new arena from being built. the MTS centre is nice, but they need to add 3000 more seats to fund a real hockey team without sponging off the revenue sharing like the coyotes are currently doing and have been doing since revenue sharing came it to play. which begs to ask 1 question...was the lockout and salary cap era directly linked to the mistake gary bettman made expanding into non-viable hockey markets? was revenue sharing implemented because certain teams are struggling and would be forced into relocation due to exponential losses? as an NHL owner, if a portion of your revenue from your successfully run franchise was going to pay the coyotes payroll, would you not want the commissioner to explore relocation, or keep sponging and living off the big dogs dime? bettman is an angry puppet that refuses to admit he was wrong. and where the f*** was revenue sharing to keep teams in Canada? it seems it's in place just in time to keep the struggling franchises from coming back to Canada.

pretty much. this wouldn't happen though for just that reason. chicago would be saying "here wings, enjoy your cup...take that leafs" all kidding aside, not gonna happen. the hawks know that if sharp becomes a wing, they are once again the most dominant team in the NHL hands down. but in saying that, i'm not big on losing ritola, which one of the guys mentioned is following the mould of flip. he should atleast be given a shot with 3rd line minutes or he'll be another leino. he'll play on the 4th line in DET and get ragged on and he'll go to another team and turn it on when he gets ice time. and as for the 2 mediocre seasons in GR...they havn't had the best forward depth the past couple years, so in a case like that, you have to look at individual talent and try to project that to what he can do playing with guys like dats, Z, franzen and flip etc.

that's where i disagree. i saw jeremy williams play and thought he was a better all around player than soft serve williams. jason is a pile of dog s*** with a mangina.

lets put things in perspective. he was going to start the year in GR anyways, this just makes the decision easier. if for some reason he actually did make the team, kindl would have to be traded cause he's ineligible to return to GR this year and will end up being waived and then we have quincey 2.0 for everyone to ***** about. i for one think kindl is going to out play ericsson this year, so i'd like to see him play lots for the wings. then again, ericsson was grossely misused last year. he should have been on the 2nd PP teeing em up on the blueline instead of williams. smith should play 1st line minutes in GR next year.

nope. sure won't. linden was a 2nd/3rd line grinder his whole career. naslund only had a few really good seasons and neither were over 1000 pts or ppg over their career. should not merit hanging from the rafters. s***, shanny and federov aren't even hanging at the joe....nuff said. if bure didn't leave while holding out, his jersey would be the only one hanging from their rafters. not sure what the deal is on smyl?
