sweet! you just like my post cause we're both so excited about NHL 11! in all seriousness, barring injuries, i think regardless of what happens with the hawks, wings take the central division the next 5-7 years. even when lids hangs em' up, the wings have too many good prospects that are gonna come in and surprise other teams fans. the wings always find a way to turn heads. i can't wait to see nyqvist in the top 6 with the likes of dats, Z, franzen, flip and huds. flip and huds each get 65+ points this year. franzen and Z score 40, dats nets 34...yes 34. howard laughs at the sophomore curse. kronner gets 50+ points, and all is well on LGW.

yeah, but i've never been this excited about ANY video game...ever! i'd pay the next $70+ just for the addition of the CHL. living in the peg, you get a certain attachment to the brandon wheat kings, so to play for them and then the wings would make my year! any other changes are bonus fries in the bottom of the mcdonalds bag.

absolutely possible for flip. he was playing really good...broke his wrist. came back and had a pretty good point pace going. if he plays all season in the top 6, he'll gain confidence and we'll all see lots of improvements. there's only so much you can do in practice, you need to play against OTHER teams top lines regularly.

i thought the same thing too when i was playing the game, but never found the words to explain it. i hope you put that on the EA Sports site. i also wanted a co-op be a pro where you and a buddy can play a career together online. you just invite your friend to the game and set it up together. play the prospects game together and get drafted in a sedin twin like package. and set up the game speed how you want to unlike the current slow ass online settings with shotty puck control.

i just hope the draft brings dylan mcilrath to round out the wings D-prospect pool with smith, almqvist and lashoff. not sure if i missed anyone important, but those 4 would give the wings something to look forward to on the back end. i really hope the wings brass can snag another good forward like tatar in the 2nd round this year, just a little bigger if they will. the wings will be deadly if they have a good mix of sizes of players.

i like your idea, as pretty much ALL wings teams that won the cup had 3 and 1. i personally think ritola should be given a shot on your 3rd scoring line. he's a smart player with great hands. eaves can be re-signed and put on the 3rd line or i would go out on a limb and say andersson or callahan can show us what they got. but i see those 2 kickin ass in GR this season. i cant wait to see someone like landon ferraro on a line with helm and abby.

i go on and blog on the EA Sports web site too. i mentioned at the beginning of the year in NHL 10 that they should add the CHL and make it so you make the NHL in the be a pro game mode after a junior career and in the GM mode you can draft real CHL players instead of weird makeshift EA sports guys...guess somebody listened. NHL 11 is gonna be epic! ...as long as they fix the collision detection to make the contact more realistic, like when you barely get bumped you should still be able to pass the puck off or get a shot off while falling or something...but everyone on the EA site bitched about that enough that changes are in order already.

lucky for briere, richards, giroux etc too. foreskin would have been their "go to guy" purely on reputation and would have taken important situation ice time away from the guys who got the flyers to the cup. flyers are and were one of the best teams in the east...they simply fornicated the canine ALL season, thus placing them in 7th place possum mode. no eff'n way they were a 7th place team, especially in the east.

me too. i love the hawks team. have since the days of roenick, cheli and amonte with a sober belfour. that team was great. the current team is even better. but no proof he did do it...it's all speculation.

I don't see how you guys are saying the hawks were so lucky and had an easy path to the cup. and chicago IS the deepest team in the NHL currently, until July 1st when we see who all they can keep. but saying Nashville - Vancouver - San Jose - Philly is an easy path to the cup is crazy. that's harder than Nashville - Columbus - Dallas - Pittsburgh I think it was in 2007-08 when the wings won. But both teams in any case earned their path to the cup by finishing in high seeds in the regular season.

i know brian burke isn't the GM of the ducks anymore, but it would be hilarious to see that ****** kevin lowe make a ridiculous offer sheet to ryan like he did when he stole penner's fat ass from the ducks....because really guys, f*** the duck!

you guys are ridiculous! you don't mail in blocked shots and high percentage faceoff wins...and penalty killing like dats/Z. he was having a hard time putting the puck in the net, but he still played great. he got assists. he created tons of scoring chances and made all the right plays at the right time. on top of that, he still led the hawks in playoff scoring. and there's 4 rounds in the playoffs, and he was one of the biggest, if not the biggest player in getting the hawks to the SCF. niemi is going to be a good goalie, but his positioning flaws almost f***ed the hawks hard in the finals. lets just say niemi made the finals alot more interesting than they should have been.

ABSOLUTELY! i'll party all night and into the next day with the hawks fans. but once the party is over i gotta switch places with you again quick when toews brings the cup to winnipeg.

i want to see jonathan toews carved into the cup, along with hossa, keith, seabrook, sharp, big buff...the hawks are the best thing in the NHL these days behind the wings. an exciting team like the sabres pre-firesale. just for the record, richards is one of my favorite players, and i'd like carter, briere, gagne and hell, even leino to win the cup...but not on prongers clock.

that would be epic! i can't wait to see hossa hoist the cup. 5-2 hawks. it saddens me to see wings fans cheering for pronger.

i'm pulling for the hawks 110% and hate pronger more than 99.9% of the people on the planet...but in saying that, the hawks havn't won s*** yet! save the antics like that for when the hawks win the cup. then they can talk trash instead of giving the flyers dressing room board material to get them pumped up against their team.

i would take brouwer over any free agent out there, even if throwing an offer sheet cost the wings a pick or 2. i didn't lump him in because he's RFA as opposed to UFA. i'm not sure which one ladd is, but either would be a good pick up. honestly, if we could keep cleary and add ladd or brouwer to a line with him, that would be badass. but then miller would probably lose his spot on the team. but of them all, i'd take brouwer. i watched him when he was teammates with dustin boyd on the moose jaw warriors, and he was tough back then and could put the puck in the net.

didn't he break his leg or something?? ferraro was supposed to be a right handed helm with more scoring touch. i'm excited about LOTS of wings draft picks...tatar, nestrasil, almqvist, smith, coetzee, andersson, ferraro...what's not to be excited about right now? hopefully kindl turns out to be a good player, and we'll see how well ritola does if he gets a shot next year. either way, the future is bright. so all the people saying the wings dynasty is over will be pulling their feet out of their mouths to eat crow soon. Zetterberg and Datsyuk's replacement?? More like linemate. They are gonna be around around 10 more years. this team is gonna be sick in a few years down the road once the prospects finish developing to take spots on the wings... ladd was injured. and i'll take his 20 goal seasons on the wings. and the kid can hit hard which is something that everyone on here wants and holland is looking for.
