beauchemin has been running around all over the place making up for everyone else's mistakes. he was a good addition, but the overall team play defensively is atrocious. komisarek is a ******* goon that does nothing but cheapshot and hit from behind...that's why burke likes him. which brings me to brian burke...well he can be summed up with 2 words. ****** bag.

in homer's defense, he apparently had 3 separate injuries in the playoffs last year, which may explain the piano that was tied to his ass. he hasn't been as bad as playoffs, but like Z and D, i won't miss him at this point when he's gone. as far as the organization, the wings don't rebuild, but in all reality this year may be accurately referred to as a transition year. the wings won't be getting by on pure skill like they did last year by simply outscoring teams and playing swiss cheese defense and goaltending. it's only 5 games into the season though we should all remember. atleast the wings aren't 0-5-1

i must be in the small group that didn't understand why lebda and meech were kept by the wings and quincey was let go. from the start quincey was a better hitter, bigger, less stupid giveaways/mistakes, and he can skate for his size. i was pissed right off when he was waived and am still quite unhappy about it seeing as he's playing really good for the divealanche. the wings would be far better off right now, and last season with a 3rd defense pairing of ericsson and quincey. f***!

favorite non-wings players: Alexander Ovechkin (obvioulsy) Mike Richards Milan Lucic If any of them ever for any reason became Wings i wouldn't know what to do...i'd be so happy!

In addition to the fact that big bert can reek havoc in front of the net, he is also REALLY good at cycling down low in the other teams zone. that is an underrated part of his game that seemingly goes unnoticed by many. he may actually be a good fit on the 1st line with dats and z if the wings are to give homer a lesser 5 on 5 role this season.

leino will probably be put directly into the 3rd line role that hudler played. with the depth added, we may very well see helm on the 4th line, though he's strong on faceoffs and would be great on the 3rd line. i'd rather see homer on the 4th line but i don't see it happening. the lines will change 15 times per game but the starting line-up is anyone's guess...so here's mine. dats - z - homer mule - flip - cleary leino - helm - tuzzi eaves - draper - williams maltby in the press box please

patrick sharp speared lids in the nuts and injured him...i would take sharp and put a wings jersey on him in a heart beat. lids probably would too. different from bertuzzi, but still a cheap shot. sometimes people act VERY irrationally, cant change the past. bertuzzi is a different player now than he was, and it's tied directly to what he did. he broke a guys neck and he has to live with that forever. and unfortunately for him, it's what he's gonna be remembered for when he retires. if or when he signs with the wings, hopefully the media and wings fans will let him just come back and play hockey.

holland said that if or when hudler comes back, that he comes back a better player... maybe he's using that as a challenge to better himself by playing more minutes for dynamo?? for 5mil per season he should be 1st line.

yup, and it looks like it won't be ending anytime soon...or atleast until the cap is at about 70 million. is it really fair that the teams that make all the money can't spend the money they want to? NO! the teams that generate revenue should be able to reach into their deep pockets and throw money around. teams like phoenix should have garbage teams because they can't afford to ice a good team.

yup...13th fwd, 7th d. whatever needed. if lilja is healthy, lebda is gonzo. meech has his values. i wonder though if lebda if needed to could play a defensive winger role?? he would be better served on d for another team though.

i thought it was pretty much already decided that abby was playing another season in GR??..and that helm was on the wings. with eaves and williams on the roster, the wings are done signing unless they want maltby to be the 13th fwd (highly unlikely) helm will most likely be 3rd line centre with abby 1st line centre on GR...or wing if the wings want him to develop into a winger, which may not be a bad idea.

dats and z will be together, and flip will probably be with franzen. so realistically the lines would most likely look as follows: (common knowledge homer can only produce with dats and z... dats - z - homer franzen - flip - zherdev helm - leino - cleary maltby - draper - that other guy though those tandems do look intriguing

JR and the golden brett should have their own hockey show i would watch it religiously. JR is pretty funny

offer him hudler's money. see if he can reach his potential on the wings. not a terrible blue jean jackets team with only rick nash...or an offensively handicapped rangers team (huge bust!) he would fit in the top 6 nicely if he plays hard consistenly, meaning dont take games off.

just like last olympics....if pronger is on team canada, i WILL be chearing for sweden. plus zetterberg is my favorite player since yzerman retired, so i feel no guilt in cheering for sweden....while i listen to swedish metal. then i will drink vodka and cheer for dats and kovalchuk!
