malts has played a good game so far. he's doing the small things. getting the puck out of the d-zone and blocking shots. i like abby, but malts is playing his part.

i don't want just any Helm jersey.... i want the ratty freddy krueger sweater with the redwing crest on the front and helm 43 on the back done up like a jersey. i would also like (on the same subject) a Nightmare on Helm Street shirt. that would kick serious ass!

helm - z - franzen hossa - dats - flip cleary - abby - sammy homer - draper - maltby hudler has been invisible, aside from his turnovers and general f***-ups. i've always backed the kid up, but it's time to sit in the press box for a game and think about how shameful he's been playing. helm has been awesome! he would be even better with more ice, and on a line with hank and franzen. f*** the sedin cycle, watch those 3 work around gill and orpik. keep flip and hossa together, chemistry is important. dats will fit in good with those 2. the way the 3 play will mesh quickly. abby and cleary can dig in the corners and throw the puck out to sammy for a one timer. homer doesn't deserve top 6 minutes at the present time.

Z's my favorite player. i respect everything he does. he's the most consistently great player in the game as far as my eyes see.

dats and z are world class centre's bud. they even backcheck and spring hossa back the other way with the puck. crosby's a hell of a player, but not a complete player yet.

i agree with you, it was a penalty. but when gill and orpik get away with worse on a regular basis, it's getting old. oh well, hossa's got 2 goals saved up for game 4. lets hope he cashes in again.

i cant wait for the article in the pittsburgh papers when hossa signs a 7 year contract with the wings. guess he wanted to play for a hockey team that doesn't whine until the refs play as their 6th man.
