i noticed it in game 1...i noticed it in game 2...and again tonight. ericsson does it once and he's in the box. how did the wings end the game with less penalties than the penguins. unbelievable.

no, he has 1 more year on his contract and will most likely play it out. if i'm not mistaken, if you retire, your salary still counts against the cap. if that wasn't the case, we may see drapes retire. maybe i'm wrong...?

i think all the worrying from all us wings fans is that we can't handle the thought of losing to the penguins, and hearing anymore of their fans s***. i may calm down if/when the wings win tonight, but until the stranglehold is there i'm a little nervous. it's alot different if there was a team that us wings fans mutually like/respect, but after having dickheads on our site spewing their peguin loving bulls***, and dealing with the media, it'll be so much sweeter when the wings win and we can enjoy their victory together on "LETS GO WINGS"

simple fact, there's 2 teams out there on the ice, and 2 teams could get penalties against them. there's been questionable calls on both sides. missed calls happen, even when they seem blatant. i don't hear any pens fans complaining that helm didn't even get a shot off on his breakaway, because hal gill slashed his hands. and of course the penguin fan media loves that no call. in closing, pens fans are bushleague, but they suck at the highest level.

but if they suspend malkin...the penguins become a one man show

Zetterberg could be classified as a "Utility Superstar" - meaning he does all the little things that make him a big star player He is rarely a minus player. He's dominant on faceoffs. He can be a scorer and a playmaker. His "attention to detail" in the defensive zone is as good as it gets. Maybe the most important part he plays is shutting down the best players in the game, holding them pointless all the while making his mark on the scoreboard himself. Sure am glad this guys a Wing for life! Tonights game just made this point even clearer... Hank 2 SOG, 22:48 TOI, 15 FOW, 5 FOL, 1 assist, +1 Cindy 2 SOG, 22:35 TOI, 6 FOW, 14 FOL, 0 pts, -1 Game 1 goes to Zetterberg Go Nuts...

lol...good point! though hossa and fillpula made malkin invisible enough. all he got was 1 assist that was pure luck cuz ozzy couldn't find the puck...ozzy's only flaw this game, good show by him. 2 man shows are easily handled by the wings!

by the time lids hangs em up, draper will be long gone. drapes and cheli have A's, and the wings usually have 3 or 4 of them C - Hank A - Dats A - Hossa (if he's there) A - Helm/Franzen/Cleary...who on the wings isn't a good candidate?

agreed. malts raised his game to the maltby of the early 2000's tonight. he seems pretty pumped and his game showed it. good job with abby and leino getting their first playoff points.

i read that one too... all they talked about was eating octopus and how it's chewy. and "some detroit fan are super moron" is barely english. i bet it says on the site somewhere "no good lose win we want...detroit bad suck. let please win us." atleast the posts for the most part on LGW make sense. and i say most because pens fans leak their idiocy onto LGW far too often.
