This is the Brendan Smith we saw in his first call up a couple seasons back. Offensive flare and lots of potential. -
I definitely don't blame Howard for that loss. The 3rd goal was lame. It looked like Jimmy was far enough out of the net to think he was getting ready to head out for the extra attacker, but there was over 7 minutes left so there goes that. It just really seems like the boys always play better when Gustavsson is in net for whatever reason. I don't know what to make of today's effort. Hopefully tuesday they kill the BJ's and get back on track.

Probably. Apparently Abs is a 1 man show out there with no Rangers players doing anything out of line. Lovin' it. I hope the Wings shell the Rangers in the 3rd for 5 and the 3rd period is complete silence. They complement the Wings once each period, so they would reach their quota too fast.

Your list looks exactly like mine, funny there's only 6 guys in the NHL on D that are better and 2 are on the same team. If Kronner isn't a #1 then 24 other teams in the NHL don't have one either . Except all other teams fans don't make a #1 argument based on Nick Lidstrom being the #1 benchmark. Unfortunately though, if Karlsson actually becomes Norris worthy defensively, he could be added to the list and within a couple years, Trouba may be as well.
