Of course Hockeymom likes this! the post about Callahan reminds her of her long lost Holmstrom, whom since retired loses us our usual garbage goal bangin' in guy. I don't miss Homer's one-dimensional game, but his PP presence and in general net front business is much needed.

3 goals against in 6 games... who really was in it, even with our lame offence? I take Sudafed and Actifed and drink 3 fruit smoothies a day and then chase it with cough syrup and soup. Half of what I do would make me a IIHF doper. -

Backstrom with a migraine headache...not good. -
I find it's really a case by case basis. There's the Selanne, Chelios, Lidstrom guys who are ageless and then you have guys that decline. Using Wings players as an example, Sammy, Tuzzi, Cleary, Draper and Homer even their last years. Age is a fickle thing. One year some guys are amazing, the next they're at the bottom of the hill looking up. Z and Dats, I agree keep getting better. They can stay and play till they're 50 if they keep their game with them.
