    True. I was only put off by today's game really. Kinda lame on the offensive side other than Doughty. Our D is very very good though. That could be what wins us gold.

    That's the main problem. They need to hit their stride before facing a hot USA team. It's midseason, they should be in midseason form. The line juggling is one of the main issues I believe. No chemistry.

    There's a reason Helm has the value that he does. He's a guy that gives you depth to go deep in the playoffs. Bottom 6 guys of his quality don't grow on trees, which is why our other guys don't have his value.

    Last USA gold medal was 1980. I'd take 4 years rather than 34. I guess what I'm saying is that when Canada wins it, it's not a big enough deal to make a movie. Kick ass movie though.

    Nope. Doughty is one of the few Dmen in the league that's an all-around better player than Kronwall. Doughty is an eff'n rockstar!

    There you have it. Drew motherf***ing Doughty. I said it all game, just give him the puck cause clearly, he's the only Canadian that knows how to shoot the puck "not directly at the goalie".

    No CBC announcer, this isn't "technically a great game". USA vs Russia was a great game. This game is a chess match where Canada needs to get more quality shots to the net, but the Finns D is in their heads and they're as Kip said, skating in glue. That's why I wanted a guy like Ladd on the 4th line to grind and hit. USA has a line of Callahan-Backes-Brown....we have Nash in that role. f*** me.

    I would blame Babcock with his ridiculous line shuffling. No chemistry at all. And Kunitz is lame, there goes Crosby's tag-along. Perry has been subpar, dragging Getzlaf down. I'd love to see Crosby centre Tavares and Duchene. Canada needs a go to line cause right now, we're watching grass and it's not even growing.

    They played good last game, but I'd have to agree with your assessment. Especially against a depleted Finland team. Quit messing with the lines so much and get it together. No way should Finland be in a game as injured as they are against a totally healthy team Canada.

    Canada's dictated the play and can't bury nuttin'. Good on the Finns for hanging in with their depleted roster. Nothing like having no pressure. This is kinda how I expected the Finns to play, defensively stingy. I still expected Canada to win 3 or 4-1 though. Right you are. 16 points in 52 games this year with a -15. Ouch, he's better than that. Put Tavares on a line with Crosby, that will provide offence and get Cindy going.

    Carter had that if he held on a half second longer to go right around Rask. His D were occupied. Let's just get the puck to Doughty and let him do the rest.
