The ref at the blue line should let the ref in the trenches make those calls. Blue line ref can eat a fat dick. So can Gudas. Go back to the 1 ref system instead of skippy with the binoculars thinking he knows what's going on.

Every time we get a horrible call against us, we pay for it. They always score on the BS calls.

Ya. I was braindead yesterday after a long week at work. I've always liked Matt Greene and he was a beast in the Kings Cup run. Steady and mean. That's the part of Rich's scheme I liked. But after that. ...sorry Rich, ya dismantled too much of the future to get Vanek and a couple others. The future of this team after Z and Dats is Tatar, Nyquist, Mantha, Jarnkrok, Ouellet, Sproul, Sheahan and Tinky. Get a guy via FA when one is available to help out those kids. Vanek would be good to offer 5 years at 7per in the offseason but not as a rental this year with a possibility of signing this summer.

I may have referred to the wrong Greene. I think it was Matt Greene from the Kings. Pretty sure that's who Rich was referring to as the big RH Dman earlier in the thread. I would be quite happy with Mark Stuart as well. As a big Jets fan, he's a buy that I know for sure would be an awesome D partner for Kronwall or Smith.

You best not be knockin' on Abs . Vanek at 7 mil for 5 years would be pretty good. Even with the cap going up though, I wouldn't commit over 7.5 to Vanek. Though if we could dump some lesser players and get Vanek and Greene, then I'd be quite happy.

The only thing I've seen in the past couple pages of this thread that seems like a brilliant idea is trying to get Andy Greene on the Wings. He's a meaner Ericsson that uses his shot more.
