Exactly. How is this even a question? We have the ALL-TIME leading shootout scorer at 40ish% and we're complaining? We have enough guys on this team to rag on, let's leave Dats alone. Dude's over a PPG, he's doing his job. If we had a reliable bottom 6, there wouldn't have been 5 straight OT/SO losses. Tally up our bottom 6's +/- and then complain about Datsyuk in shootouts. Unreal. And +/- isn't a useless stat. Quincey is garbage and is -12. That is an accurate portrayal of how awesome he isn't. Dats had 2 goals tonight when they really counted. There's no record book for shootouts. Quit playing Miller and Cleary in OT and it won't get that far.

The one thing that really angers me about this game is the fact that the Wings get no calls for them. Twice this year we had zero PP's in a game and now this one we got 1. I thought it was BS, but didn't get pissed until the non-call on the hit that almost sent Helm head first into the boards. Luckily he reacted quick and didn't break his neck….I hope his back is feeling ok right now. That goes uncalled and then Ericsson gets a lame ass penalty in OT on top of Tuzzi's 2 penalties that were beyond weak calls. It's bad enough that we have no trading partners, no one claims our guys off waivers and we have a bottom 6 that's half scrubs, but when we have to rely purely on Z and Dats 98% of the time, give them a break and give us more than an average of 2 PP's per game or whatever it's currently at. 5 PP's to 1 is retarded. The one saving grace for this game is that our 2nd line is playing really well. Mule-Helm-Tatar was our best line this game. Helm and Tatar's speed is opening up room for Franzen to do his thing and have lots of time to get his shots off. That may be the key for him. When Alfredsson and Weiss come back, they should be on the 3rd line with Abdelkader and keep that 2nd line together until they stop playing and producing the way they are.

We need someone that's not Dats or Z to step up. This team is not going far if no one else will start producing.

Cleary's average time on ice is higher too and he's had more top 6 time. Just to hammer the point home. Tatar is much more the player we need. Cleary's time has passed.

Pretty hard to argue with this statement. Fact is, Tatar should not be a scratch and Nyquist should be a Wing. Tatar-Helm-Alfredsson for it's short time was the best our 2nd line has been all year.

Our top line has to outscore the other team entirely. Our secondary scoring is……nope.

It just occurred to me that I've been wandering enemy territory in my Helm shirt and my Reebok Wings windbreaker. I haven't got jumped yet, more to follow. 2 hours till boarding time. yay!

Did I forget to mention that Danny Cleary assists all 7 goals and gets 1st star of the game and Babcock carries him out on his shoulders? Now you all know.

I'm stuck in Toronto airport and can probably only watch the 1st period on Gamecenter, so hopefully when I land back in Winnipeg (thank god!) the Wings have already won the game. My prediction, 4-3 Wings. Dats and Ovie both get hat tricks and Z gets the winner.

Or Miller and even Andersson. I'd take Eaves over all 4.

Followed by a Tampa shutout. Yay! Honestly, I think the last thing that should be done is to break up Z and Dats cause with them together, we at least have 1 line producing. I wish Babcock would have just used Alfredsson-Helm-Tatar as our 2nd line.

No. I hate Cleary and Quincey a lot. But I also talk about the good moves that I think Kenny makes. You seem to be a chronic sky is falling fan. I'm pissed that Nyquist is in GR and Cleary is dragging down our top 6, but you should maybe talk about the guys you'd like to see in the top 6. Join the conversations in a positive light. Use constructive criticism, not just pure criticism.

That's awesome! Helm got a couple quality chances last game. He and Tatar have speed to burn and I think that if they actually play together, they each score a goal and we have a productive 2nd line for the first time this year.

Real, die hard Wings fans that despite the fact that they're not as good as some hoped, still have at least something positive to say about the team they love. Not just one line posts saying how terrible you think they are with every keystroke while never saying anything good about the team you claim to be a fan of, if you truly are a Wings fan. Yet to be seen...

The latest we'll see Nyquist is after the trade deadline. Mark my words.

That's cause a 2nd line needs to step up and show chemistry and prove that we have the "depth" to go deep in the playoffs. It's yet to be seen. Time to load up Tatar-Weiss-Alfredsson. Tatar and Alfie had a few good shifts together. That could be a start.

I like your new sig. Though for a change, it needs more Cleary. Dats for the GWG in OT. that's my prediction.
