I personally don't think Kassian did that intentionally. If you look at the physics of the hit it looks like Kassian connected with the hit and his leg shot forward when his inner thigh made contact. Looks like an unfortunate event from natural reflexes. Kassian is a tough kid, but I don't thinks he's a cheap shot artist like Cooke was/is.

The ref that stood there and watched Holtby get punched in the back of the head repeatedly should be fired and never ref in the NHL again. How's that for player safety? Emery is a clown.

Let's hope that Sproul and Ouellet don't get Nyquistatar'd in the minors and make the team asap. Ouellet looked awesome in his 1st game and Sproul should run our PP asap as well. If Smith doesn't get his s*** together asap, then i'l like to see the following next year: Kronwall-DeKeyser Sproul-Ouellet Kindl-Ericsson Smith/Almqvist
