Z Winged Dangler

The line of Brunner-Andersson-Nyquist was essential. They got the momentum going for the other lines, that in turn kept the momentum. Our 3rd line this year does nothing but kill momentum aside from Andersson, who looks kinda lost out there without any skill on his wings. So I'll back you 100% on that for sure. This year is sour.

I would be perfectly happy if Cleary wasn't signed and Tatar and Nyquist were flanking Andersson to make a 3rd line with some skill and identity. Instead, our bottom 6 is a revolving door of scrubs and Franzen is basically junk in the top 6. Anyone who wants to stick up for him at this point.....we've played 4 games, 1 against an elite team, the rest scrubs we should mop the floor with. Franzen has 0 goals, which is not what we need from our "main sniper" who is supposed to pace himself for 30 goals. Maybe he should go to a scoring area and put his stick on the ice, instead of cancelling our PP's by shoving his stick in the opposing Dman's gloves. Like someone said in the GDT, Mule ain't Homer, get over it. He can't do what Homer did, try someone else.

Emmerton didn't do himself any favors to be a guy that stays up by being completely invisible for the first 4 games. Useless. Mrazek may as well go play in GR than sit on the bench with all the other players under 26 on the Wings.

I figured we wouldn't have to worry about that this year. We should have had the best 3rd line in the NHL, even better if Helm returned serviceable. But in turn, the only thing going through my mind is that i'm deeply regretting renewing my Gamecenter account to watch this washed up pile of s*** we currently call the Red Wings. This team is hardly worth watching right now. Brunner is doing good, Cleary is useless. Filppula is doing good, Sammy escaped a potential buyout by playing the injury card and has played like ass this year. Goose is wrecking the AHL again, Miller is going through the motions of being a bottom 6 guy and has brought nothing to the table. Tatar is sitting for scrubs. This year so far has been severely disappointing. Even Alfredsson had the worst game I've ever seen him play last game. He was horribad! If things don't change, I'll be calling Gamecenter to cancel my subscription and will not go anywhere near Detroit to see a game live, and worst of all, if I get to go to the Wings/Jets game 4 November, I will show up in a Jets jersey in protest of the complete garbage that the Wings are right now, when this should have been the year we finally get some young legs going in plave of s*** like Sammy, Cleary, Miller and Tuzzi.

Alfredsson capped off a crap night from what I saw with a terrible pass and a fumble at the line. that game was ass.

Bang on. I had to run out after the game got tied 2-2 and now we're behind 3-2 cause our team has no legs and a terrible bottom 6 and Franzen is complete ass so far this year. Get him in the bottom 6 and Tatar in the top 6. I'm badly regretting getting Gamecenter again this year cause the Wings are boring as hell right now aside from the top line.

I'd rather have Tootoo in place of MarshMiller. He's been useless for a while. Premature signing if I've ever seen one.

Z and Dats together are dominant against everyone they play against. The problem with the Wings is the team we are icing. If we had more talent on this team, we'd be way better. Z-Dats-Abs Tatar-Weiss-Alfredsson Nyquist-Andersson/Helm-Franzen Tootoo-Andersson/Helm/Glendening-Sheahan That team with a healthy Helm, with no plugs like Sammy, Cleary, Emmerton, Miller, sadly Tuzzi....that team stacks up way better against WAY better teams like Boston with 3 scoring lines and a 4th line built to actually shut down the other team, not just waste time as Babcock and Holland's leftovers that become our 4th line. Z-Dats-Abs has 7 points combined in 3 games with Z leading at a point per game pace. The other lines need to step up, but our 2nd line has no consistency cause Babcock keeps putting Cleary on there when Franzen disappears every game instead of Tatar or having the luxury of Nyquist to have Franzen live on the 3rd line against 3rd D pairs where he is actually useful.

Z was a beast tonight. I had a feeling he was gonna pot one with the empty net.

I love him on the 1st line with Z and Dats cause he works his ass off. He got a goal tonight cause he went to an open area and squared up for a pass, and then buried it. He's been a man on a mission since last year.

What a dirty comeback. Boys battled hard to go to 2-0. Nice to see Weiss get his 1st as a Wing. Hope Alfie gets his 1st tomorrow.

He's meh, but he's working harder than Franzen, but apparently Franzen needs Z and Dats to help get him going.

He's having a really solid game all around. and he's been shooting even more since he scored.

2nd unit got zero momentum. brutal.

Our 2nd PP unit is missing Tatar and Nyquist.

No one looks for Abdelkader . Too busy watching Dats and Z and that's why Abs will be successful this season.

Definitely a respect choice for St. Louis to be Captain. Stamkos will get the nod once St. Louis retires. He derserves the C for sure.

There's reason enough to keep Howard, a top 5 NHL goalie. If Mrazek pans out, trade him for a top Dman and keep the sure thing in Howard.

But then if anyone who would consider trading for Sammy saw the rest of the game, they would notice that he was a slow old derp that hung out way too high in the offensive zone while his line mated did all the board work. He did one thing right and got a mildly lucky goal out of it and aside from that looked like an old man afraid to muck it up to build the lead.
