Right now the Jets have no idea what they are. Noel is a good coach, but Cheveldayoff is essentially taking the summer off aside from signing nobodies and getting Setoguchi. Bogo and Wheeler filed for arbitration. they will likely each get around 4-5 mil. They signed Halischuk.....whoopedydoo! SIGN YOUR RFA'S DUMMY!!!

I thought of making a twitter account just to follow Dats and Daniel Tosh, but I may have to still consider making one and following old Hampus. He seems entertaining.

As I've said before, my favorite non-Wings Dman. Kid's got skill and he's responsible with it. He and Shattenkirk are a hell of a pair.

Little Tuzzi is a firecracker! Guess Holland taking him with his bonus 2nd round pick isn't so bad now in everyone's favorite word...."hindsight". They'll be buddies in a couple years and look back and laugh at it. Competition is fierce is seems and that's a good thing. Now lets all imagine Tuzzi Jr on a line with Callahan......nice.

Defiance was an amazing game. The whole MMO thing was probably pretty hard to pull off on the 360, but I'm guessing there will be lots for the Xbox One, which I have a down payment on. It has it's issues being a MMO on an underpowered platform, but I'd suggest getting it anyways. The first time you put the game in, it will take quite a while to install to your hard drive and have all the patches completed and it'll take up about 7+ gigs of space, but it's worth it. I though about getting a couple more of the ultimate sale games, but i'm more or less saving my money until NHL14, AC4 (Xbox1), Dragon Age 3, Final Fantasy XIII-3 and the Roman game coming out for Xbox1. Speaking of NHL14, I'll likely make a club and invite the LGW guys on here that play Xbox. I'll make it the same name I give my HUT team likely, Winged Wheels. darkmanx is on my friends list as well, Plumma with something on the end is his gamertag. He's a really good winger. I haven't played much NHL13 lately cause I think it's a pile of crap, but 14 looks like it's gonna fix a lot of the stuff that I detest about 13....the crappy puck control/deking and the skating is wobbly and terrible, but i'll be spending tons of time on Be A Pro live the life thing, and GM mode, but either way I'll make up the club and send out some invites.

Trading a top 2 Dman and a really good 2-way forward is a really good way to make Rask earn that $7 mil.

That's a very long term with a lot of money for a goalie. He's top 5 in the league now, but for how long? He's only been the #1 for basically a lockout shortened season. That's not much to merit $7 mil per. I would have signed him 3 years $15 mil if I were the B's GM. Their depth will suffer with this signing. The Wings division may get even weaker now cause of the lowered cap.

St Louis didn't want to keep this guy? Hainsey had 0 goals, 13 assists, but a bounce here, a bounce there, they're the same player, but I stick with Q being more offensive regardless of last years lower point total, and I ragged on Q more than Jets fans ragged on Hainsey which was quite a bit.

I'd say your top 6 guys are a little low aside from Abdelkader which looks pretty accurate. Z and Dats should be around 80+ points. Alfredsson I think will get 35 assists. Kronwall I'll say 16 goals, 40 assists and I'm gonna go on a limb and say in top 4, Kindl gets just over 40 points. Not a bad overall guesstimate though. Weiss has been getting close to the totals posted consistently his whole career, aside from last year. Now he actually has good linemates. I'd go as far as to say he'll top 70 for the 1st time in his career with Mule and Alfie, as opposed to Mueller and what...Versteeg as the other 2 top players in Florida not named Huberdeau, who is a centre too I believe.

It should be waived for him as the best Dman in the NHL not named Bobby Orr....so the best of an entire era, but by the looks of it, it won't be.

Screwing the Wings over by playing the injury card when he was allegedly ready to go in the Chicago series....if there was a place lower than Toledo, we'd want to send him there. He's a distraction now and he needs to go whichever way the Wings can rid themselves of him.

It's also a good way for the Wings and their prospects to gauge their graduates to their other top prospects. A little challenge for them all. I think he was there last year too. That's the perk of having your old man as the coach. You get to train with the best franchise in the NHL and learn some s*** from some quality prospects and improve his game. 5'09, 150 lbs sounds like a Hampus Jr, not Babcock.

Bogosian is still RFA and needs to be re-signed. Same goes with Wheeler and Little among others. The Jets likely won't do a sign and trade, and they want Bogosian around still. Gonna need a different target than Winnipeg to use as a dumpster. Washington would likely bite on Q cause their D is terrible, Emmerton could probably get a taker cause he's cheap and reliable, Tootoo has use for many teams and Winnipeg would be a good fit for him as he came here a lot when he was a Wheat King. But Sammy is a whole different story, he's a problem that is not easily discarded.

realistic for Abdelkader on a line with Z and Dats all year, and if he gets PP time is about 15 goals and 20-25 assists max. Expecting anything more from a guy to fetch pucks and hit guys is just crazy. I agree with darkmanx that maybe a better offensive player should be up there like maybe loading up and putting Alfredsson on that line, but with all the forwards we have signed the roster is, and will continue to be a patchwork. Until the lines are built for chemistry, we won't have set top 6-9. Either way, I hope Abdelkader has a really good season, or gets moved down to the 4th line where maybe he belongs.

I got my 1000G on Defiance yesterday. Now I'm working on Dragon's Dogma. After I finish that, I may play Witcher 2 again, but on the hardest setting to try and complete all the achievements in that. I've been playing Saints Row the 3rd, GoW Judgement, Cursed Crusade, I need 2 more multiplayer achievements to yet again complete AC3 and I may go back and get the last couple achievements in AC1 sometime soon. I still have to do all but 1 of the Skyrim add-on achievements. It's been on the back burner for some time now.

He got Seguin but it costed him Eriksson and kids. Then he acquired Horcoff whom I believe is not even trash but the moisture in the bottom of the garbage can. Holland got Alfredsson, Weiss and DeKeyser...one of last years additions will be full time all year. I'd be looking more forward to this year asa a Wings fan. Oh and Dats signed on for 3 more years. Sounds like Holmstrom to me aside from deflecting shots. The reason those lunchpail carrying knuckleheads are on those lines is to retrieve the puck and park at the top of the crease. I'd much rather have the likes of Nyquist, Tatar, Jurco, and so on on the top line with Z and Dats, but the nice thing is that Dats and Z are so lethal together that it makes it so you can have a grinder to help them out and have 3 scoring lines on the team.
