He's being out played by someone much better at his job. How is the +/- worthless, it shows that everytime he is on the ice he's a liability. If he was playing goodI wouldn't have a problem but he's playing bad and Downey is better at the 4th liner role.

I would like to see Detroit vs. Montreal i think it would be a really good 7 gamer. I would not like to see detroit ottawa , Cause i think it would either be a 4 gam sweep by ottawa or a snooze fest of us just shutting them down and losing in 7.

I agree with Kypreos and think 1 game would have been enough. Koivu deserved it and that's what makes it right. IMO Koivu should be suspended as well.

According to the Ducks insider on XM 204, they aren't clearing cap space, with moving Bryzgalov to waivers they only save ~$300,000 in cap space, hardly enough to make an impact on bringing Selanne back or Niedermeyer for that matter.

I for one love them. Denfinate shooting advantages over wooden sticks. I don't think they should be banned and think alot of players would be really pissed if they were. They should be allowed to use whatever makes them feel comfortable.

Wouldn't that cause for more teams trying to get into the shootout after regulation? Since they are guaranteed a point instead of getting no points at all. They should just do 3 pts for a regulation win 2pts for an OT win and 1pt for a shootout win, quit rewarding teams for losing. It's just not right to reward a team for a losing effort, no matter how well they played. But I see what you were saying Toby, I would like to see more offensive games, not necessarily more scoring, just better but I think there is too much of a lack of talent in that department. There's too many role players for that, so with that said I'm glad the s***ty teams are getting better at what the game has become I can't wait until the Wings have a legit contender at taking the Division.
