Why'd he resign if he was going to retire anyway? And then he cleared waivers. That just got my hopes up. I don't want him to retire. Wait, I don't understand. I thought the whole point of signing Maltby to a 2 way contract was so he could be sent down to GR because he wouldn't play a lot. Does he still have to clear waivers? Regardless I think Maltby will clear waivers, so I'd rather see him there than Eaves. I love both and would hate to see either go, but right now Eaves is the better player.

I'm not old enough to remember the other losses, but on top of what you said, it also hurt (this one is probably just me) because it would have spared Hossa ridicule and it would have been back to back Cups. There's been a team I think nearly every decade to repeat and no one had done it from 2000-2010, and it was our turn!!!! You couldn't write it any worse!

As soon as the time ran off the clock, I left the restaurant bawling. As I was leaving, I glanced at the TV and they were showing Gonchar who's eyebrows were halfway up his head...that really pissed me off. I did eventually see the handshake, but not that night, and I will never EVER see that fool raise the Cup. I close my eyes whenever Versus starts to show it. I actually can't watch any game from that series, even the ones we won, because I know how it all ends. I hate knowing it was all in vain.

Oh ok. I was just wondering because when I'm up at school I doubt 6 other girls are gonna let me hog the TV and watch a 3 hour hockey game every other night. This way I can watch them anytime. This just further spoils us Wings fans...but I love it.

How soon after the games do you usually put them up? Do you wait til the end of the season, or do you post them as they go. Not to sound demanding or anything!!! Just wondering.

OMG they're making it worse...just get rid of the dang shootout and make everybody happy.

Sooooo if you win in the shootout it doesn't go toward the season number of wins and if you lose it still counts toward the season number of losses? I don't understand.

What can I say? My love is unconditional when it comes to hockey.

If I ever had a boyfriend, he'd probably dump me because the majority of my time would be spent on LGW, Puck Daddy, NHL.com, watching a Wings game, or watching RW Weekly. I would get too emotionally involved with the games(example: my story about The Game That Shall Not Be Named) I would endlessly rave about how epic a play was or rage about the refs or a poor Wings performance. I would spend my money on a newspaper after every win during the playoffs, just so I could read the sports section and tape the pictures to my wall. Even certain songs would remind me of hockey and I would end up making up my own lyrics to them. My facebook statuses would be game recaps/analysis, and everyone would probably get annoyed by it all. Maybe I'm not supposed to know more about hockey than some guys my age... Also, he probably wouldn't like that Marian Hossa is my computer background.

I am disappoint. I loved him on our team especially the PK. I'm disappointed that he asked for that much. Hun, you were out a year with a concussion. Wait til your consistently healthy, then ask for a little more...I'm gonna need a new sig... He would literally kill them!
