Cleary might just be my favorite Red Wing. That being said, we're praising him for fighting through an injury that lead him to have a terrible season/playoffs, yet we condemn to hell a former player for the same reason...just sayin'.

1) Beating his previous team after putting his reputation on the line to play for the Wings 2) Winning his first Cup 3) Who else would he give it to?

I really hope he tears it up in the Final because Lord knows even if he does win it, people on here will continue to say how he didn't earn it. I hope he gets handed the Cup first. That's what would have happened last year.

I hope he scores like 6 goals in the Final including the Cup clincher to vindicate himself and spite all of you.

I love that we had enough fight in us to avoid a sweep, but they didn't. Now Chicago just needs to win the Cup and I'll be happy.

Really? He's the only reason I'm rooting for Chicago. I want him to win just to spite the people who turned against him. As for Montreal, I'd like them to make it to the Final, but I don't want a Canadian team to win it all. But with the way they're playing, they'll do neither.

I hope they keep him, but not for much more than what he's getting. He's a good mentor to Ericsson, he's still a beast on the PK, and he's not so much of a liability with the puck.

Agreed and agreed! I was just raging about it on facebook. My favorite part is how he implies the announcers/commentators are in love with us(if I got the innuendo right). Even though every other word out of their mouth is "crosby".

I'm actually wearing my Hossa jersey shirt right now. The bottom line is we'll never know how bad it hurt, how hard it was to play through, or how hard he tried. But he KNEW he had to work for each win, he KNEW the embarrassment he'd face if he lost, and he KNEW he had one shot. Knowing that you can bet your life he tried his hardest. I just think it's a joke the same fans cheering him on in his fight against Suter are the same ones booing him at the Joe. You guys complained about how fickle the Pens fans were. Hypocritical much?

Here we go again rehashing the same argument about him being a choker despite the fact he was injured, but wait he was paid so much. Yeah, 'cause I forgot rubbing dollar bills on a torn rotator cuff really speeds up the healing process and eliminates pain. If the Wings get knocked out, I'm rooting for Chicago. I want Hossa to win a Cup, he's a good guy and a great player and he deserves it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in '02, down 2-0 to Vancouver, did we not win 4 straight? Granted it wasn't as dire as it is now, but they still won 4 straight. We're not going down without a fight. I believe!!!

Sometimes it feel like the Wings are just trolling. They'll put themselves down 3-0 then win in 7 and be like "Trolled". But seriously, they seem to play well with their backs against the wall, which will be every game til the end of the series. I think the Wings from Round 1 Game 7 will show up tomorrow, and they'll just roll from there.

We've been barely losing these games, all 1 goal games. If we can just step it up a notch we can win. Do that 4 straight games and we got this. Not to mention the Sharks are chokers and I wouldn't put it past them to blow a 3-0 series lead. To quote LOTR: "If this is to be our end, then I would have them make such an end as to be worthy of remembrance!" or 300: "This battle is over when I SAY it is over!" Wings in 7.
