I think you guys need to stop with the "Red Wings lose so it must be either Sammy, Lilja, or Dom's falut" thing. Babs knows how to take a team deep into the playoffs. Sammy's not going to single handedly get us out in the 1st round, like so may of you predict. Because believe it or not, he's not the only one on the team. Babs's got him on the PP for a reason. He's one of the main reasons we always out shoot the other teams. If I recall correctly a certain "sucky" player scored the only 2 goals in a series winning shut out.

Cool. So we can get him back for the Playoffs, he can take 34 penalty minutes, and we can win The Cup. Or We can get him back for the Playoffs and win The Cup. Either way works for me.

Curse you, you beat me to it! As far as players being approachable, when my friend and I met Lilja, we each got a picture with him as we got our stuff signed. After alot of the people were gone, and the was no line, we went back to see if he would take a pic with both of us. He did. I said "We'll leave you alone after this I promise." He's just like " Oh no I don't mind!" And before we were taking like a million other pictures of him and he looked right at us and smiled for them. He's such a badass on the ice, but he's a really approachable guy off it. Then again it was at an autograph session, but still, he was willing to take another picture with two annoying teenage girls. Great guy.

Opps, I put the 5 best players, not favorite. I can't pick just 5 Wings. I love them all the same, Stevie is the exception. He's #1 and then comes the rest of the Red Wings.

Meech? No way. That's badass. Of course these guys aren't serious, they're just pissed. They don't seriously mean "I'm going to end your life." And like 55 said, they may say "Kill you", but it translates as "Beat you up". Just like "Kick your ass" doesn't mean "kick you in the butt with my foot." They should just say that on the ice, not off it. Cheap shots however are a big no no.
