I don't know where you got the facts of the wings being 2nd most penalized team in the league, I don't post much on the forums, but the wings as of today have only received 135 penalties. There are a handful of teams which have recieved more peanlties than the red wings. To name a few Anaheim leads the league with 170 peantlies, Phili with 151 peanlties. There are also 7 more teams ahead of the wings in penalties. Now if you go with total penalty minutes PIM the red wings rank even lower on the charts. The red wings are ranked 10th lowest in the league in PIM recording 298 pims through 23 games. Top team in the league has 437 PIMs which is Philidelphia. Not to burst your bubble about the PIMs for the wings, just thought I'd throw that out.
