My gueese is that Babs is trying to change things up a little bit, to get a sence of urgency in the team, Sure this loosing streak isnt a big one, but it could easily become one, So babs is trying to nip it in the bud.. My gueese. or Reason for Franzen and Sammy being in the 2nd line, Maybe the Atlanta,Hossa trade is feasible, And atlanta is interested in Franz/Sammy to be apart of the deal, And Detroit either wants to try and boost there value, Or Atlanta wanted to see how Franz/Sammy re-act to big minutes. Other then those 2 reasons, I cant think of a reasonable explanation for hudler to be on the 4th line..

Lose more than anything? you must only watch Drake fight, because thats all that downey does is get his ass kicked. Downey doesnt deliver these big hits that you think he does, Maltby and Kopecky deliver better hits then Downey does half the time. I cant see how Downey is considerd an enforcer, If anything he is more of a Rent-A-Cop, He plays the roll but he doesnt do the job. I cant recall a fight nor a hit where i said Wow downey really got him good that time. On a side note, Raitis Ivanans an Zack Stortini has a hell of a fight the other night too.

The difference between Rafalski making bum mistakes and Lilja making bum mistakes is that Rafalski makes up for them in 1 way or another, weather its scoring or assisting, or making a good defensive play.. Lilja on the other hand, Will make 1 bone headed mistake after another before he does something good. - Rolston would be a great add, but it will not happen.

Maltby why? He hits hard, agitates like hell, good on the pk.. big part of our team chemistry and toughness. he's much more valuable then downey.

No, Downey is good in short doses. He hasnt been Agitating nor Hitting the way he did when he was played sparingly. When he played games in bunches he didnt have the same effect. If we needed a reserve full time, I'd better be Ellis.
