Ontop of getting Doug Weight.. they recieved Michal Birner, who was ranked 13th of all the blues prospects. and a 7th round selection.. So they got 2 Young players to mold..free up salary..and dont loose much production by trading McD for Weight.. Good trade for Ducks overall i think.

I think its good for the ducks tbh.. Doug isnt a horrible player.. sure Andy is better, but you got to now think they got one of the best Defence in the leugue. Pronger,Neidermeyer,Schneider,Boshamen:D. pretty stout.. now for teemu to come back and i think they are very strong..
