Franzen other than his goal was pretty non existant. along with almost every other forward. Im kinda surprised that we kept it as close as we did, while letting in the amount of shots that we did, because even ZDH didnt play up to par. Anyway. The refs were freaking HORRID, they called anything and everything no matter how minor it was, there comes a time where you just gotta let the guys play. The game wasnt very fun to watch either, so i flipped between that and the Colts/Falcons game and The First 48 on A&E. Ellis got LAMBASTED by Tootoo and i nearly pooped in my draws the way Ellis was worrying if his head will still there. Downey didnt do much "hitting whise" and never really put Jordin in check either. so he failed at his job tonight. I expect alot better played game by the wings next game and i hope we dont end up with these same refs next game.

On a side note, Franzens goal was nice, he should of had that first slap shot goal to that got called of because of an offsides.

You'd understand if you where reading the boards, when hasek let 3 breakaway goals in against the blackhawks against Sharp and Borque out of all people. Basically this guy named Steve Williamson i think it was. was going to visit all 30 Arena's of all 30 teams in 30 freaking days. I mean wow, that is just awesome i know that is something alot of us would love to do, and he is doing it. He said that St Louis was by far a surprise, everytime the puck went into the corner the crowd was on its feet. All i can is that he must be freaking rich, but man o man thats something amazing..
