The D kind of scares me. There is alot of uncertainty after Lids and Raf. today was just an off day defensivly for both teams, Our's was on the PP we just got caught up in it. Lebda/Chelios - Make a good team, but dont strike fear in anyone, Not Physical and not very Effective Offensivly, Lebda needs to use his speed more then just rushing the puck in. He needs to use it in the checkin department to make up for his size. Kronner - Shows glimpses of promise, then the next game falls off the face of the planet. Lilja - About as worthless as they get. Meech - Solid 7th Dman, but nothing more, Dosnt shine in any aspect of the game, But Quincey is no better, so might as well let Quincey continue to be groomed in GR. All i can say is that we need a Defensive Defencemen to impose there will physicaly against other folks.

As much as i want them to wheel and deal, i dont want them to jepordize the future. But, Oli Jokinen has been a player the panthers wouldnt mind shopping. His contract is 5.2m a year and wont be a 1 year fodder. I believe we could snag him for Franzen and Sammuelson and maybe throw in a high pick and/or a prospect that isnt Abeldekader or Kindl. That is two Top 6 Forwards and, A High Selection Draft Pick. And a possible lower projected prospect. And it would be worth it for both squads. That would Solidify our offence for a couple years. and could still have enough room to lock up Zetterberg long term. Not to mention if Lindstrom decided to retire, we would have enough room to lock up Jokinen. And another player id like to aquire would be Chris Gratton a big gritty guy who isnt over the hill still has a few years of productivity left. And we wouldnt have to rob the craddle to get him. My only worry is after Cheli and Lindstrom retire. we will have the following. Rafalski-Lebda Kronwall - Quincey Kindl - Meech *Lilja*But i hope he is gone soon* Does that sound promising? i dont think so. Rafalski is good, but without Nick he wont be nearly as good. Lebda Kronner Quincey. top 4 D-Men? Eeek. and Kindl and Meech with the 5-6. not bad. But its highly Undersized overall.. Thats my take on future trade deadlines and what i want and i what can be expected if it went that way, all in all i think it'd be worth it.

Ill give Hasek another chance tommorow. If he redeems himself great, If he flops, ill be pissed if Babs does nothing about it. You need to take drake out right now, its evident that with the cage he dosnt do what he is good at to full effect. Let Downey or Ellis earn some stripes in the mean time. Tommorow's game will be a redemption game for alot of folks, cuz after that i have a feeling Babs is going to do some switching of the line ups and some folks might be in for a world of surprise.

Changes? yes. to name a few. Split the ZDH Up. Hudler and Flippula are starting to shine, imagine what they could do with some real talent surrounding them. Franzen,Sammy,Lilja, Need to be packaged together or shipped out seperetly. Franzen there is still hope for. Sammy has trade value and by dumping him, its addition by subtraction. Lilja, Give me anything and ill be happy. After everything is said and done id like our forwards to look like this. Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Holmstrom Flipper - Jokinen - Gratton Cleary - Draper - Maltby Drake - Kopecky - Hudler (Downey) We Grabbed Gratton for Lilja.3rd Round Selection. We Grabbed Jokinen for Franzen.Sammy.1st Round Selection in 08.1st round in 09.

i came to the conclusion that since Oli Jokinen is trade material for the Panthers, we try to snag him. Then we have our 4th line consisting of Drake,Kopecky,Downey. so we can have 2 solid scoring lines. 1 solid defensive line.. and 1 line that will play like the guys from the movie Slapshot and make us the most feared team EVER@@@@

We need Franzen to wake the hell up btw. as much as i dislike Ellis, Franzen is making Ellis look like a god. Franzen is just like Lilja right now, Dosnt do anything, and dosnt use his size for nothing. Holland needs to text the NYR and say Franzen for Prucha? and shake hands.
