I wouldnt mind that either, im not completely sold on meech, but he is an upgrade over Lilja, small or not. Id much rather have a big physical D-MAN other then Lilja, but what can you do, you work with the scraps you are givin. If Ference gets a chance, i think that would rejuvinate his career like we did with cleary another former 1st rounder. Its far fetched but you never know. we gotta face reality, Lilja is here to stay this year, maybe babs can put a fire under his tooshi like he did with kopecky and rex.

i was syked to hear that when i read that also, Its good to hear because it seems like everyone in the minor system, isnt top 1-2 scoring line material just 3rd-4th liners.. and potenial AHL all star's/NHL lack luster type players. so this is a good sign. hopefully we can get more young promising players in the system.

I would like a 4th line consisted of Drake/Kopecky/Downey.. that would be SIK. no1 would wanna mess with that line. because 1 will make you cry, one will smash you then run away real quick, one will smash your face into the glass and laugh in your face. no1 would want to touch that. And for Lilja, Id rather package Lilja and Kronner, for a big tough Defencemen. who will drop the gloves the way Downey does. but still is responsible with the puck and isnt a bone headed dingdong Who cares? Lilja is a ***** ass ****** who plays with no heart.. Meech has solid offence ability and still plays a good defensive game, and small body or not, he gets the job done.

I dont care that people dont take NHL as seriously as the top 3 other sports, thats good no pre-maddonas' no stupid bulls***.. But i would prefer for them to take it seriously enough to pronouce the players names right, show some key games of the season. and just show NHL some respect.. IMO, Hockey should surpass Baseball sometime, Baseball is so corrupted and slow and boring on the other hand, Hockey is aggressive, finnese, fast paced. exciting.. Hockey would be alot more liked if it was more aggresive more big time checking, more fighting.. not to mention more Americans.. Most people cant relate to Slavakov Pitelamegarzakov type names. a normal Tyler Peterson is something americans can relate to. My post? offtopic?sorta.. but mer idc

if this year he can some how sneak past hasek as our top goalie.. and win the cup this year, and be solid for next couple. i think he has a shot. But as it is now, i say NO. Osgood is good, but isnt a great. The 5 Hole King, really has no shot, but osgood is a great player and he is the only goalie id want in net for the wings.

I always liked Kopecky,I think if he keeps mustering points like every 1:4 games and makes these nice hits and being really competitive. there is no reason he cant replace cleary on the 2nd line PP, Cleary is pretty much limited on the PP on what he can really do. Kopecky can do what Homer does *maybe*, Kopecky can also handle the puck and shoot the puck relativly well also. Id like to see them atleast try this out, if things so go smoothly with Kopo.

what i want to happen. Get the tempo up, start Crashing and banging. Get kronner a bus ticket to grand rapids. Split up Zorro/Huddini . They arnt getting it done. see what they can do on seprete lines, Franz is back, split em up. Hudler is on fire, get him more involved.

I wouldnt mind snagging Chris Gratton. Big tough, can get 20-30 goals for us. wouldnt take much to get him, thats realistic i believe. I would really like some more big bodied folks who got a good balance of offence and defence. Kopecky is ideal almost, has enough grit to aggravate people but not enough to get him into trouble.. and he can handle the puck good. just needs to shoot more when he gets the puck i think. Another person like kopecky but a little better, and id be happy.

I wouldnt mind seeing the so called "less notables" around. Modano would be rad, Along with Ryder, Avery would be a dream come true AGAIN, i remember when we traded him and i had a hissy fit beause he was a beast. Even though Hossa/Naslund/Sundin would be nice, i just cant see it happening.. I doubt we want another Tuzzi situation.. thats what it would be

yah it was quite an over offer, but Hossa is a beast, and if we can snag him, we would have 2 great scoring lines.. id do whatever it takes draft pick/prospect whise to get him, and throw in either huds or sammi. i didnt mean both.

agree with statement. cbj/det never ever never hockey will never be the same. anyway, CHI/DET will prolly have an upcoming rivalry again for one reason.Kane/Toews will re-jevunate the hawks. one of our players "downeydrakekopeckymaltby" will really crack one of there heads in and that will spark the rivalry for years to come... i can hope right?

if they would take a crap load of our prospects i wouldnt say i would care that much, Hossa would be great to nab.. Sammy/Hudler/1st,2nd This Year/1st,3rd Next year/ maybe even add 1 of our promising upcoming defencment also..we want a cup, this will pretty much solidify that cup. Id say that would be hard to pass up.. for a team who will loose the player after this year anyway.
