Not trying to "call anyone out." Some of us just wish the love and/or respect for Dom had always been there, instead of waiting till the very end of the season. Some of us are a little more sensitive when it comes to ugly posts on our favorite players, but I respect everyone's right to disagree with me. Listening to some of the things that have been said about Cheli really hurt me, but those people are allowed to feel that way. Like I said, it just hurts. Thanks all of you who are giving Dom (and the others) a big It's getting my day off to a MUCH better start than yesterday!

We forgive you this time Aflac. Hopefully you won't have to make it up until NEXT season with your first GDT of the year. *fingers crossed*

And I'm sure it goes both ways. Dom has tips and advice for Oz, Oz has the same for Dom. Both of them have so much to offer, not just to the team, but each other and Jimmy. He's coming in to his own, and to be able to study under the best tandem in the NHL is the chance of a lifetime. Dom is someone special, and I am so glad I got to see him play in person. If he retires after the Cup, I can honestly say I saw the best.

If anyone will know what the symbol is, it's Loo. She may be lurking around. We are all truly blessed to be fans of a team that sticks together through good and bad. You misunderstand me. I am all for going with the hot goalie. And Babs did that and all Dom fans agree with his decision, so please don't think otherwise. However, after he was pulled, it seemed like every other post was how awful Dom was, and how he should never have come to Detroit...ya ya ya. Most people conveniently forgot how important he was in getting us to the playoffs to begin with. He and Ozzie BOTH were pivotal. That's what I meant by being dumped on. I wasn't attacking your post by any means. Just trying to clarify what I meant.

People on here did applaud Ozzie during the regular season when he played phenomenal. He's always gotten tons of respect from the folks on here, and rightfully so. It's just time to do the same for Dom, who's been unfairly dumped on this post-season. We are proud of him AND Ozzie. Dom has proven to everyone the caliber of player, AND the caliber of man he truly is. It's nice to see all of you giving him props.

Very true. Dom will be the first to say that Ozzie's hot, so keep riding with him. I know Dom wants to play, but he wants to win even more. He's considered backup now, but I honestly don't look at him like that. I see him as a partner. He and Ozzie are the greatest goalie tandem in the league. Period.

I agree. They are good for each other. They get along so well, and they really push each other to be the best. Plus, their styles are so different that it keeps the opposition guessing.

We are appreciating him for all he's done for the team this season. Dom is truly a team player, and like you also said, we expect nothing less from him. It's a shame that some have wasted time and space doing nothing but putting him down. I'm very happy to see people on here speaking out about him in a positive way. WE WANT THE CUP! LET'S GO WINGS!

It's nice to see Dom get some well-deserved love! He has been the model of class since Ozzie took over. He's been a good teammate, and more importantly, a good friend. He and Ozzie truly are friends and it shows. Puckloo posted a really good article on him in the Hottest Wing thread. It proves just how awesome he really is! LET'S WIN THIS THING TOMORROW BOYS! I'm gonna tell you why and I'll probably get raked over a bed of hot coals, but I don't really care anymore. Ozzie is not the saviour everyone on here makes him out to be. He plays sucky sometimes, just like every other goalie out there. And unfortunately, he choked tonight. Big time. I get sick and tired of everyone here making him out to be this super-human that can do no wrong. Well guess what folks? Tonight, you saw him for what he really is. Human. He blew it in his biggest moment. There. I feel better. Not much, but some.
