Well, The Wings got shut out by one of the worst goalies in the NHL.. and now they play one of the best.. So they will probably score 7 again..

I agree, They seemed pretty sure before the break that at least Datsyuk and Cleary would be back.. But I guess there is no point in rushing anyone back as long as they keep finding away to win..

I have always kinda liked Stortini and definitely wouldn't mind seeing him as a 13th/14th forward. As much as I love Mursak, I think I'd rather him finish the year strong in GR. There is no gaurantee that even when all of the current players come back from injury that there wont be more go down between now and the end of the year.. What's the harm in having a guy who can handle his own and put up a few points on the side?

I'm betting somewhere between 0-14 and 14-0.. But more seriously, with players coming back from injury 10-2-2 sounds doable to me.

For a second there I thought the only player they must have asked was Nabokov.. EDIT: And I would also like to know who the 2% of players were that thought fighting should be banished.. Might be an interesting conversation if we had the names..

The one thing I have noticed is that since all of the injuries have piled up the Wings have been even more reluctant to fight.. Before the injuries there was usually a fight every few games with either Abby or Ericsson.. I dont have the exact numbers but I dont believe anyone has fought since the injuries started to add up. Not sure if it's just a coincidence or maybe Babcock told them to focus on picking up the slack as opposed to fighting.. But to answer the poll, Yes I do think the Wings could benefit from carrying an enforcer.. I mean when the injuries are all healed up its going to result in at least one or two players being scratched each night, if you are gonna have a player who only plays every 2nd or 3rd game anyways, why not make it an enforcer? I love the Wings but I don't think I have been as disappointed in them as when Stuart got wrecked and no one even looked at the player who did it (Kostopolous?)..

So today is opposite day. Instead of going down by 3 and then getting even the Wings decide to go up by 3 and then blow it.. sweet.

It might be sad but I dont even care if The Wings lose.. just for gods sake dont give up the first 2 goals... that s*** is starting to get depressing..

I'm kinda on the fence here. I think it's great that most of the Wings will get the rest they deserve. But on the other hand its kind of a slap in the face.. Correct me if I am wrong but are the Wings not the 2nd best team in the NHL right now and 2nd(?) highest scoring team.. Yet they get the same amount of all stars as New Jersey. I think the NHL might still be a little bitter over the fact that the Wings pretty much told them f*** off last time when Dats and Lidstrom sat out.
