I think there is a bit of coincidence to it because its not like you can just take any 3 euros and throw them on a line and they will have instant chemistry.. But I think on a certain level it does help. Its no secret that the style of hockey growing up in europe would be fairly different from growing up playing hockey in NA so I definitely think to a certain extent it helps create some chemistry by playing on a line with other players who come from the same type of system you did.

I dont see a huge issue with a couple of ads, maybe don't agree with the company, but from a business perspective it makes sense.. As long as they never end up just being a collage of ads like some of the european teams. I mean theres already ads on the boards and now superimposed on the glass, I feel like it's only a matter of time before we see them on game jerseys.

Im not gonna try to start anything on Datsyuk because he is by far my favourite forward in the league. But does anyone else think he must be feeling a little under the weather the last couple games? I can't remember many games where he gets hit that hard and he did two nights in a row, and Im not even gonna bring up the giveaway because he has more than his fair share of takeaways to make up for it.. just found it kind of weird seeing him get hit a couple games in a row since usually if he is on he dances around those hits and makes them look foolish for trying.

Well that was disappointing. Oh Well, At least Kronwall got a couple for my fantasy team.

No, Thornton was coming out of the box from serving his 2 minutes for that hit from behind when he made the hit on Perron. He got the 5 and a game for the hit to the head which is what the hearing is for.

I have tried really really hard for a long time to not jump on the Ozzie bashing bandwagon.. And im sure there is a perfectly solid argument for every goal he has let in because their usually is. Im not going to debate that, the fact is that, atleast to me, its same old story with him in net. You can blame Osgood or play it off as the team doesnt play as well when he is in net, whichever the case im starting to think its almost time to pull the plug on him. I might get bashed for this but if you have a goalie who you know doesnt have the teams confidence when he is in net then maybe its time to find a back up for Jimmy that the team can play well in front of. Maybe its just the heat of the moment and I needed to vent but I am tired of the bad feeling i get whenever i see that Osgood is starting..

Is there some sort of stat that shows which team gives up the most last minute of a period goals? Because I am sure the Wings would probably be in first or atleast damn close to it.
