Never ceases to amaze me how a line up of some of the most talented players in the league can not score for the life of them in a shootout. Oh well.. Mule and Motown came close with the cross bars... and ofcourse Yip had to score the winner.. Something about that name just bugs me. Anyways, Datsyuk and Z looked good tonight. Franzen did what Franzen does. Modano still looks like he is coasting half the time but wasnt that bad.. Jimmy wasnt that impressive... but oh well.. a point is a point. If this game had of happened last year it probably would have been 4-1 Avs. Atleast the Wings can score again.

This has to be the longest summer I can remember. So pumped to watch some real Red Wings hockey again. Only prediction for this game is that Big E tries to make everyone like hime atleast momentarily and destroys Fairy. LETS GO WINGS!

The game itself seems pretty even 5on5 but eventually the inexperience gives the Leafs a bunch of power plays which has skewed the score a little bit.. all in all most players have impressed me, Ericsson looks like he is trying too hard and frustrated already.. Emmerton has been good and I am loving Mursak and his shot.. like to see atleast a fight in the 3rd (im looking at you Ericsson).

Just curious.. has Kessel sat out any of Torontos games so far? Seems like he has been in then all and scored all of their goals. Oh well, Im confident that the Griffins are just as good as the Leafs on any day.. LETS GO GRIFFINS!
