That sounds serious. I think my hockey withdrawl gets worse everytime I come on this site. I would call in sick to work and stay home from class just to watch the red vs white game if it was on TV. The fact that I am on edge waiting for Wednesday to come so I can watch the preseason game between the Leafs and Sens on TSN is terrible. -
Well, It seems like a solid rule.. but Im curious to see how much it actually changes things.. if only someone with more time, effort, knowledge and skill than me could come up with last seasons standings revised under the new tiebreaker.. im predicting no signifgant changes.. since if im reading things correctly the SO Win still counts as a regular win, unless it comes down to a tiebreaker at the end of the season where after points they would rely soley on Regulation and OT Wins.

So.. Instead of improving their back up goalie situation and getting someone that can play a few games each year instead of making your starting all-star caliber goalie start 70 games.. you just replace the all star goalie? That seems like twisted logic.. but hey, maybe they know something we dont.. Greiss for Vezina 2011!?

Arent we all gonna look foolish when Leino single handedly wins the cup and the conn smythe to go with it. On a serious note he has looked really good, I dont know what his actual ice time was tonight but it seemed like he played 45 minutes, he was all over the ice.

Well what can I say... I would love to see Detroit play San Jose without 20 ridiculous penalties.. just for the record, when was the last time Detroit was short handed 10 times in a game?

SO.. what I have learned so far: Holmstrom can get raped in front of the net and no one would look twice... Thornton gets touched after skating through the crease.. Thats a penalty.. good to know.
