It looked to me like Lebda was trying to hide behind Stuart.. On the slow motion replay they showed you see Stuart turn around and has a WTF look on his face when he sees Lebda standing right beside him..

Well, we scored a goal, thats good. Atleast Jeremy Roenick agrees we got ripped off against Dallas, that makes me feel almost as good as getting the extra point last night would have (/Sarcasm). Let's all now hope for the Lidstrom hat trick since he is officially on a hot streak now and has to make up for all the goals he hasnt scored this year.

Well.. let's try to avoid the shootout in this one.. I say if its tied with a minute left in OT we pull Howard and go wuth 5 skaters.. atleast if they win in the empty net we will have peace of mind that it was indeed a loss.. Hopefully atleast the bad luck will come to an end today.. I dont remember seeing a team with worse luck than the Wings have had this season.. from injuries to bad calls everything seems to be against them. Seems like every game now is a must win game, and looking at the schedule for the next two weeks it doesnt get much easier so lets hope the Wings can pull it together. Well, I dont think there is any way at any point in any game Ott would ever man up to fight May.. Which means May might have to literally just grab ahold of him an dthrash him around some.. I might agree more with you if it wasnt a close game, but no way that game even makes it to overtime if May goes out, runs Ott's head through the boards and gets a 5 minute major.. Then they score on the PP, its a 3-2 game and we dont have to worry about the refs screwing us over..

I also saw this on Eklunds twitter.. I could see maybe Leino plus Meech or Lebda and a 2nd or 3rd. Ive never been a huge Selanne fan but there is no doubt he could be a huge boost to an offensively struggling team.. Id love to see him on the PP with Datsyuk setting him up.

Well.. this is just bad.. is it just me or is it every time the Wings get a chance to slip into that 8th seed and maybe gain some momentum.. they s*** the bed?.. I was kind of worried this might happen.. get used to grinding games out while everyone is injured and once players start coming back just sit back and rely on the fact that you should just win games now.

Alright.. Its been a while since I actually looked at our line up and smiled. Lets hope the team doesnt just rest on the fact that they have Z and Cleary back now and stop working hard. If we can play as hard with a full lineup as we did most nights with a nearly half AHL lineup then I think everything will work out fine. I dont know if hate is a good word. I dont really hate anyone.. but here are the top 5 I dislike. 1. Ott 2. Pronger* 3. Crosby* 4. Malkin 5. Neil * These players will be removed from my dislike while the NHL is on break for the olympics

Only thing that really surprised me was Morrow.. I could have seen any of Stamkos, Doan, St. Louis or Carter in his spot.. but I cant see many faults with this team.. Gonna be fun to see if Babcock can get all of these guys to play a Red Wings style system.. if he can I dont see anyone that can stop Team Canada.

Its pretty obvious here that the problem is Ritola.. hes played 2 games and we have been shut out 2 games. We need Leino on every line!.. But seriously.. You would think this team would get tired of being shut out constantly.. I mean its kinda sad when our entire offensive output relys on how many goals Todd Bertuzzi can score a game.. These injuries cant heal fast enough. We make one of the worst goalies this season look like a Vezina candidate.. whats new?.. Anyways.. atleast we saw some fights haha.. Hopefully we bring some offence against the Avs.. who else can we call up haha..

As much as it hurts my fantasy team having Howard winning games instead of Ozzie I feel much more confident predicting a win when Howard starts.
