Well.. if I remember correctly.. after those two embarassing 8 goal games last year the team picked it up some for a few games.. lets hope that after this game they can pick it up.. for the rest of the season haha.

Okay.. So all the games I have seen on TV this far have been losses.. but the 2 I watched online have been wins.. Which tempts me to watch it online.. but that seems like a waste of my HDTV.. maybe I will switch to online if they start losing.. haha.. My prediction: Wings 3 (Bertuzzi, Leino, Kronwall) Sabres 1 (Pominville) GO WINGS GO!

Well.. lets hope there is something better waiting for the Wings back on this side of the pond. You can blame goaltending.. Blame PK.. blame what you will.. but overall what I saw was absolutely zero effort. We played for 30 Minutes yesterday and about 10 Minutes today. No matter how good your goaltending is and how good your PK is, you probably wont win many games when you are completely out worked in every aspect of the game. If the Wings give 100% and play like we all know they can then it really doesnt matter how the PK is and goaltending suddenly becomes less of a factor. I expect to see a whole different Wings team back in the joe after a week of practices with a probably not very happy Babcock.

I dont so much mind losing these games.. As much as I find it kind of embarassing that we are watching our old back up goalie completely outplay our current back up.

Im so glad we focused this entire offseason on improving our PK.

Well.. These GDTs never get old.. Everytime a bad game or two comes up it appears as if the end is near. And yes, The thought of starting 0-2 is not a very good thought. And These games have practically been mirror images of themselves.. but this is still the Red Wings we are talking about. I still have faith that we are a top team. However, it is disappointing to see the lack of effort thus far in Sweden where you would think they would be as pumped up as ever..

Has Ozzie been training Howard?.. Plays sharp then allows a couple weak ones?.. Doesnt seem to matter who we play in net.. same story, different night.
