I knew that Datsyuk would be alright. He is such a smart player, and he has so much talent. He is a great addition to the red wings. I was so mad when he got clipped by Phaneuf and there was no call. I'm sure he's fine though, Datsyuk is tough.

Flip is an awesome player, hopefully the wings will keep him in detroit for a while.

Yeah, that line hasn't done anything, Calder is a decent player he just needs to be paired with other people. I could see Rex and Calder playing together, that would be pretty good. Lang just needs to step it up. He always disappoints me because I know he can be better. Yeah, but if Babs has any brains at all, he would look at what the Flip/Hudler/Franzen has done, and what very little, if anything Sammy has done.

I agree with Herald, the abilities have always been there, in Detroit he never got to play enough minutes to really show what he could do. With his increased ice time he has become a better player and a more mature one.

I think since game 3 is the first game played away, Bertuzzi should be put in and Samuelson out. He will add size, talent and toughness. I think its about time the wings put him back in. The Franzen-Flip-Hudler line is not going anywhere. They have been too good for one of them to sit. Sammy is really the only option.

Right. The flames have the worst road record, but they do much better at home. If the wings can pull off a win in game 3, i think for sure they will go on to the next series. The wings can't take any chances in letting the flames get their game back. I think the next game will be a close one.

Dom, actually likes facing more shots, he get bored if their isn't any. Iginla has done absolutely nothing so far in this series, he really needs to step it up or Calgary won't have a chance. The wings have been playing great and I hope they keep it up.

Oh I know I couldn't believe how many penalties he got, this is the playoffs, you're not supposed to take stupid penalties like that especially when you are behind! I heard in the post game coverage that it doesn't look like regehr will play.

Even if Hasek had faced more shots, I think the Wings could still have won this game today.

I was surprised by the lack of discipline that the Calgary had. They took some really bad penalties in the first, and then a couple other bad ones near the end of the third. Calgary is a much better team then they have been showing, I see them reallly steeping it up for game 3, I hope the wings are ready. That was a great win today. GO WINGS!

I personally felt sorry for Bertuzzi after the Moore incident. Its not like he was laughing after it happened, he felt really bad about it. He is human and everyone makes mistakes. He's a big guy, he probably doesn't know his strength sometimes. I have always kind of liked Bertuzzi as a player, and now that he is on the winsg I am happy. ok, thats it, if you don't get rid of sammy i am going to stop watching the wings The whole Bertuzzi-Moore thing shouldn't have even happened. Bertuzzi wanted to fight Moore, because of Moore's questionable hit on Naslund that injured him. Moore wouldn't fight him, so he sucker punched him. He never intended to hurt him like he did.

I think that Sammy should sit out. Maltby usually does great in the playoffs, and we need him for the penalty kills with Draper. Flip, Cleary and Hudler have been playing too well to take them out.

I thought this game was going to be alot closer. I was happy to see that the wings won this one, but they slowed down near the end, and I don't like to see that. I think the next game will be tough. I can't wait until game 2! GO WINGS!

Wow, he is going to stop watching the red wings after being a fan for thirty years? Thats crazy, Bertuzzi is not a bad guy, he just got caught up in his emotions. He apologized, and even though Moore can't except his apology thats no fuault of Bertuzzi's. I can't imagine not watching the wings because their is one player on the team I don't like.

I cannot believe how some pathetic people are, some people have way too much time on their hands making all these pics and things. Man some people need to get a life! What do you do make up a poster to bash the wings for every new movie coming out?

I have no doubt in my mind that Dom will step up for the playoffs. As Puckloo said earilier, we need to worry more about the offense. The 2003 playoffs was a disaster, it wasn't because out goalie at the time Curtis Joseph didn't show up, its because nobody else did. The wings didn't score any goals, Cujo was great though. Also, I don't think I would bash Roenick. I don't think that he was putting Hasek down at all, he was just making a statement. Thats just how he is, don't get your panties in a bunch. It doesn't really matter what anyone thinks, lets just watch the playoffs and hope for a win.

I said large effect, I don't think I would stop watching the sport all together, but I would definetely not like the sport as much. One of the main reasons hockey is my favorite sport is bc its a contact sport.

fsn by far is better than the rest. I love ken and mickey.
