This team can't afford to play Ozzie right now he's too much of a risk. We are giving up more shots against since who knows and Ozzie probably can't handle that on a consistent basis. Like last nite we were out shot 38 to 35. Ozzie is known for giving up 2-3 goals on 20 shots guys not knocking him but... lol. We are battling for a playoff spot as well Ozzie is gonna have to deal with it and im sure he already has.

I still could not believe the Packer fans booed Favre.. Yesi knew it was coming but to see it ACTUALLY happen wow. The man did so much for that team it's ridiculous! What's the reason to boo him anyway? I mean he had the best year of his career in his last season with Green Bay and what do they do? Try and force him to retire and if he does not do that he has to compete with and possibly be benched for Aaron Rodgers!!?? If i was a packer fan i would still be upset to this day with what they did to Favre! Then they traded him off to the Jets when he wanted to go to minnesota in the first place! Yes i will admit him not being able to make up his mind in the off season was bad for his character but yeesh the man loves football and let him play cause when he's gone that's it. He is the last of the legends of the NFL. The future looks bleak to me yea Brady and Manning are good but there not Favre, Montanna, Marino, Elway material. These Legends of the 80's and 90's made the NFL great and are in a league of there own.

I was really excited about this winter Olympics cause i wanted to see Hasek play! Sad news... hopefully when he gets healthy they will start him anyways cause Vokoun is BLEH! Sigh.. get well soon Dom!

First off great win by the wings! They never gave up! I was laughing so hard when Babcock pulled Ozzie he looked upset lol and basically demanded Howard get in there. I thought Ozzie was gonna cry but lets hope he regains his game. Howard was fun to watch tonight and was very entertaining! I hope he can play like that and also keep the puck out of the net on a consistent basis. Go Wings Go!!

I respect and love the Maple Leafs franchise! Same with all the other original 6 teams! Never understood why some wings fan dislike the Leafs or Monteal for that matter? Not like we have to worry about them ever unless we would meet in the finals? I say root for them! Because of passionate fans bases of these respected teams i always thought we could learn a thing or two with our lackluster fan base.

Enjoying Heatley on my fantasy team! But besides that meh don't really follow him has a hockey fan.

Yea i was like whaaa... hahahaha!! But anyways Go Brett Favre!!!! I always thought Elway was the best quarterback i ever saw play the game but now.. i dunno Favre is almost 40 years old and not a single QB in the league can do anything that close resembles what Favre is doing now!

Woohoo!!! Brett Favre is still the man! This guy is amazing and i hope he plays until he physically can't anymore.

It's getting a bit better but just about everyday i am reminded of our horrifying loss to the freaking penguins!!! Game 7 loss at that which hurts. That game was just terrible and we were down 2-0 so fast i just could not believe that could happen. That goal by Talbot oh my gosh it still haunts me... Why was Ozzie hugging the freaking post!? Yea yea scouting report... freaking Talbot!!!!!??? Sigh... i just know it's only gonna get worse once this season starts cause then i have to watch a thousand Crosby comercials and hear how this guy is the best blah blah blah! It would not bother me as much if they gave this praise to Malkin who deserves it! Anyways... I love our team and here is to an awesome season!

Agreed! No doubt the guy wants a cup and we have many swedes here waiting for him! I have always liked Sundin and he was a great role model and captian for Toronto. With that said he loves the game and when you get older in your career some tend to bounce around looking for a championship and i dont blame him. Athletes who are of total class are very RARE.. Reggie Miller fits the bill of a true class act and so does Yzerman! But sometimes these legends get a bit selfish and want a championship so like Hasek, Bourque, Sundin, Karl malone even and so on they want a ring man! Brett Favre who i still love not long ago was a loyal class act and you know what? I wanna see him still play cause he is the last of a dieing breed!

But i love Koivu!! Sigh... can't believe he's a Duck..

Always had tons of respect and really enjoyed watching Joe Sakic play the game! He was the only Avalanch i actually liked during the rivalry.

Gonna miss Sammy alot!!! He was clutch in the playoffs and i wish him the best with the Canucks!

Stats dont always tell the whole story. It's a team thing.. Kipper makes unbelievable saves and is an amazing goalie between the pipes! Plays for a descent team at best. Kipper in a wing wheel would be a sweet thing to watch! But i would keep Ozzie as well just for the fact he knows the pressure here and he overachieved the past couple playoffs. Yes he was great in the finals but i can't help but want to pull my hair out when i saw him hugging the post and FREAKING TALBOT scores a lame goal! !@#$@#$%#$%!!! lol but in all honestly we should have not even been that far so Ozzie went beyond expectations. Also he's a lot cheaper and we dont need amazing goaltending to get a cup.

Dont even know why people still praise fedorov the guy was a complete bust when he left us and i dont wanna say he was a product of our system but he was pathetic and became a shell of himself the second he left Detroit... Lack of heart desire what ever you wanna call it he will never be retired here and he's in the KHL now lol!

I know Kovalov gets bashed for being weak and diving and what not but he is one of my favorite players in the league! I love Kovalov! He is getting older but is a sick player still. But i would prefer he stay in Montreal cause they are my 2nd fav team.

Gonna miss Chelios a lot! I for one was always mad how he rarely ever played for us these past couple years. I know Babcock likes youth and that is one of the reasons why we are so great.. but man.. Chelly should have been a permanent assistant captain on this team and played more! Really mean IMO how they treated this legend and i hope someone does sign him cause he can still be effective out there!! But can't argue with our teams ways because we have been so awesome. God Bless Chelios and im gonna really miss him here...

Well ok in our generation then. This is the most painful loss i have ever experienced since i been a fan and im sure everyone else here will agree. The sweep in 95 was better to swallow then this but time heals all pain eh?

I think this is the worse loss in Red Wings history... It hurts so much and to lose to the Pens? There Captain didn't even do anything in the finals and we still lost and had to see him raise the cup! BLEH!!!! Was a fun season and hopefully our boys will be ready to go for another run at the cup next season! Go Wings Go!! That cup is ours next year!!
