Yea? How many individual awards does danny boy there on your sig have? What's that a goalie has 2 hart trophies and cleary couldnt touch a hart trophy if his life depended on it? Maybe Dom could invite him over sometime maybe teach the guy a thing or two eh?

Osgood has been a descent goalie his whole career with glorified team stats. He is what he is.. if our Defense is not protecting him well enough he's exposed simple as that people! We have 2 good backups for our goalies and let's ride em both! Now Conks on the other hand has shown #1 starter material let's see if it lasts! Conks has pretty awesome reflexes which i love and i think is why he has been playing better! If Ozzie is not in the right position blammo! He's beat. But we can be a very good defensive team and if so Ozzie might get better.

Dude Ozzie got smoked yet again by a center ice goal and i could really care less if hossa barely tipped it at the blue line lol! Ozzie is Ozzie he has no athleticsm and is not aggressive what so ever. To be a goalie you have to challenge and come out of the crease sometimes i love Ozzie as a person but he will always be an average goalie who played on some awesome Wings teams. He is probably the most boring goalie i have ever watched play the game and thank god for Conklin cause i thought i was gonna be bored out of my mind this year with our goal tending when The Dominator retired. We can win the cup with him in net like last year we just have to play great D and Ozzie will play better and it will boost his confidence.

That center ice goal brought back memories of old ozzie eh? Hehe but man i felt bad for Ozzie there poor guy. But were a great team and we will be fine. All we need is a descent goalie and a goalie that may make a big save here and there in the playoffs while averaging 15-20 saves a game. Ozzie and Conklin are both good backup tenders and you put them together on a great team and that is good enough for us cause we don't require spectacular goaltending. Ozzie has his moments where he will have complete breakdowns and he's utterly embrarresing and then he has his hot period where he plays like an all star! He is what he is and that is just good enough for a team who could probably have a few stuffed animals in net and still win.

He's been awesome and I'm having fun watching him play for us! Go Conk block!

Way to early in the season for this stuff lol plus yea our D has been shaky. Also remember we have two quality backup goalies. Prob the two best backups in the league so you put them together and add up our Defense and we should be fine!

well he's on my fantasy hockey team so i hope he continues to rack up the points even if he's a good actor heh.

I say split em and always play them both on a consistent basis. Either one is fine for the playoffs because look at our D! Now when we enter the playoffs which ever one is hotter go with that one! IMO we have two quality backup goalies and with our D there both good choices. I have seen Conklin play before he was here and he's more of a Cujo type goalie and can make a big save here and there and thrives on a lot of shots. Where as Ozzie is a good goalie when a solid D is in front if him thus boosting his confidence on the rare breakdowns our D might have. But too many breakdowns might shatter his confidence and thus you have a shaky and shell shocked Osgood lol. So when playoffs come if our D is wounded Conks might be the better choice. But if our D was like last Year then Ozzie it is!

Ditto Dom was the man! Miss him so much this season.. no offense to Ozzie but god it's boring to watch him in net! Like watching a robot knit blankets.

Gonna be very hard because it's always tough getting to the Finals! Yes we have Hossa but our goaltending is still Average but because of our defense Ozzie should be fine all he has to do is take 15-20 shots a game. If we get injury plagued then it's gonna be tough.. especially if our D gets ravaged by the injury bug. Like some other teams in the NHL if were healthy then we have a shot. Also everyone will be gunning for us and probably trying to hurt us even more. And the fact that because we are the defending stanley cup champs do we have the same drive and passion as say Dallas and San Jose?

Ditto! I'm a person who does not accept change very well and if there is a way to watch The Dominator in net again then i'm all for it!! Our sports heroes are leaving all too fast and i hate it! I miss watching Yzerman, Hull, Dan Marino, Joe Montanna, Reggie Miller, Cal Ripken Jr, etc. Legendary players like these come only once.. Luckily the NHL has young players i like and are still good role models but other sports it's far and few between.

After this years playoffs and especially finals i'm off sammy's back. He's fine people. For what were paying him and the talent around him he's actually a nice addition and is a sleeper on our team. He had 13 points in the playoffs and was sweet in game 1 of the Finals!

LOL that made me laugh hysterically but it's probably true lol! I love Chelios and hope to see him back cause i think he's still awesome! But it would also be cool to see him finish as a Hawk as well and maybe they could put the C on him..

Probably some kind of training camp thing.. guys remember when Samsonov would always come play with the Wings and train with them for some years? Always figured we would sign him lol.

The Lions spend money on a great player? Has this ever happened? Were owned by the ford family and thus we will forever be cursed with draft picks and hope they turn us into super bowl champions.... Anyways Favre is my fav football player of all time and is the last of a dieing breed i wish him all the best and i will never watch a packer game again! Go Jets Go! Also Go Lions until week whatever when we are officially eliminated from the playoffs!

Sundin has been loyal and a true leader. He has an amazing heart and is a great player! This guy has bled and sacrificed a lot for his team and has stayed with them through everything. Because of that he is a HOF lock! Sundin is the all time maple leafs leader in points, goals, and overtime goals.

Why does racism have to be involved with his lackluster play? He has always been a horrible goalie and it really showed this year because Ottawa was not able to play spectacular in front of him anymore. Fred Braithwate got more than one chance and so did Kevin Weekes. IMO Emery has no athleticsm and relies on his lame butterfly technique which does not work for him. And apparently his team did not like his attitude and work ethic so that would explain knowbody wanting him in the entire NHL! If not a single team wants you on there team then the problem falls on yourself and is an obvious statement on how you need to improve yourself as a better person and an athlete. Unlike other pro sports the NHL has a lot of great role models for kids. And for the most part the NHL is not full of bad media of players getting caught with illegal activity. Now that could be because of all the foreign influence of the game and the NHL not being an american sport. None the less i love the NHL and if i had a child i would have no problem with him/her being a fan of the game.

Exactly and especially this team now with it's already stanley cup roster and adding Hossa? A complete and utter failure if we do not win the cup next year.
