Cool read. And yes it is noticeable about Ozzie's butterfly. He's definitly got a different style now and it has helped him be a solid shot stopper when needed so far in the playoffs. As for what Babs said... ohhh man! I hope he is right cause if that 8-2 beat down on the Av's was not our best then we should be in pretty good shape hehe.

I remember watching that game as a kid and being really upset with the outcome cause who didn't want Buffalo to win? They were a cinderella story man. And i remember the excuse after that goal went in.. Im sorry but the Stars already are celebrating with the cup so it's a goal! WHAT!!!??? Would Buffalo have won games 6 and 7 if that goal was taken away like it should have been? Dunno but they deserve there fair shot at it. And i know you all can say well.. it was a stupid rule to begin with and yes it was but they friggin harped on that rule called it anyother time.. so just because of the circumstance with the crease rule and the stars already having the cup they let it slide and shatter Buffalo's dreams?

I have little faith because our team is so friggin dominant that i admit our goaltending is un tested thus far? That is a compliment of how insane and good our team is! All i'm saying and it is the truth... is our goaltending is yet to be tested and we are in the western Conference Finals! I would not have it any other way and am pretty confident against Dallas. I'm simply just being truthful and i really hope we continue to play like we have and only let 20 or so shots a game. But it does worry me a bit.. lol sorry I'm not overly confident and gloating about how we are gonna smash everyone in our path.. hate doing that cause whenever i do it jinxes us lol.

Probably one of the best games i have ever seen!! I think us as Wings fans can only dream about having one of the two awesome goalies that just put on a clinic out there! Dallas scares me a bit and let's hope Turco does not play like that on us! The way we have been playing lately i don't think any goalie can stop us.. But then again Ozzie is in the Western conference finals un tested... so we shall see! Go Wings!!

Wow pure domination! I hope the Stars can wrap up the series fast so we can keep our mojo going man! What a performance by the wings! Did the Av's even know this was a playoff game? If that's the way Joel feels.. He's the coach. But just look at the first two games.. we have completely shell shocked Jose and could barely get one goal by Budaj. Yes when Budaj has come in we have been up by 3 and 4 goals but he kept them in it after that and really looked sharp. We have always had Joels number in the past so i think we should trust his decision in Jose hehe.

Haha yea very true. I will take this game every single time we play in the playoffs! Better yet I hope every game is like Game 7 of the WCF in 2002! Ratings Schmatings... This game is not gonna catch on know matter what Bettman does. I just miss the old NHL where when it was playoff time Powerplays were practically non existant. And refs did not decide the game.

Franzen is friggin owning goalies souls and taking names!! Woooo!!! This guy is on fire right now! But we really need to take game 3. It is a must win IMO. When is the last time we won a game 3 being up 2-0 anyways? This is a must win cause I'm sick and tired of being up 2-0 and the opponent always coming back to tie it up. Let's hope for at least one game won in Denver the next two games.. Go Wings!

Just give some credit to our motown mafia. They took Legwand and Arnott out for most of the series and apparently they slam a sledgehammer in Forsberg's groin every nite when he is asleep to prevent him from playing us.

Brett retiring really bites and he was the only reason i even watched the NFL. Outside of catching a Lions game here or there and once the Lions were out of the playoff picture which is usually around week 8 then it was all Green bay and rooting for Brett Favre!! Gonna miss him and probably wont watch NFL football that much anymore.. Go Lions!

Fun game to watch and can the Wings please hold on to leads.. especially a 4-1 lead! I'm gonna die of a heart attack! That last attempt could have went in too... that was a heart stopper! Good thing Ozzie read it and made the save!!

Yea malts deserves to be in there man! Helm did play good but why not bench sammy for him? What is Babcock's obsession with Sammy? Kirk Maltby means a lot to this team and Wings fans. And yes like someone said above.. Maltby always plays better in the playoffs and really steps up his game!

Well I'm pretty sure Ozzie is gonna get tested in this series so we will see. Can only go as far as your goaltending will take you. Hopefully our D can limit Sakic and Forsberg and we can pull this one out! After watching the last series with the Av's and Wild yes the Avalanch scare me. Forsberg creating random breakaways on us will not be a good thing lol.

Ellis hands down.

I don't know the guy personally but i will say he's a pretty darn fun player to watch! Been a while since i was excited to see somebody play. Not since Yzerman of course and Hasek who was a friggin blast to watch in Buffalo and still was here!

Definitly Ellis! He showed a lot of sportsmanship and is just a great kid. Also his 40-50 saves a game against us haha! Awesome kid and worthy of the MVP in this series.

Ditto. We barely won game 5 and they were without there two best players. And it looks like they may be gone for Nashville in game 6 possibly.. lol we should be very thankful and fortunate with there injuries there having right now and focus on winning this series which is not over by a long shot! Let's bury some more goals like Ozzie said and pray the Preds won't play too well in game 6!

Glad we won and Franzen's goal was awesome but.. this Nashville team was without it's two best players and we won 2-1 in overtime. Nashville really stuck around and would not go away even if they were missing arnott and Legwand. This scares me and has me worried about our future playoff matchups. But... I'm just gonna focus on the NOW part of the playoffs and be happy! Yay! Go Wings! Score some more goals though!!! lol
