Just remember Dom is a Wing too. And hopefully this will not be the last of Hasek. On a more positive note our team actually played well once Dom was pulled. They were buzzing for the rest of the game! If Ozzie can at least be solid enough for us to beat Nashville which i think he can cause he's always been solid vs the preds in the regular season. Then we can go from there. Go Wings!

Ok is everyone still bashing Dom about the Arnott Goal?? Wow.. guys he slapped a very nice shot from the face off circle and it went right over his shoulder and went in. It was a very nice and wicked shot which was also perfectly placed! The shot blared by Dom's face and right over his shoulder for petes sakes! Then it hit the crossbar and went in!!! I would like to see any goalie save that shot... unless it's Giguere or Luongo who have overly big equipment and the shot hits them by luck. Wich in Gigueres case his should pads and chest protector are so big he might have saved it lol.

Well after watching the game it really makes me mad how whenever the preds get a goal we are completely pathetic and look absolutely terrible and are they even thinking out there anymore??? Preds get a lucky deflection goal and we utterly lose all hope and completely panic!!!?? This really needs to be fixed because the opponents are gonna score on us and we can't deal with that or something!? The scary thing is this is the preds... if we get by this series and this problem is not fixed..wow. I just do not understand this problem... Anyways I remember getting our butts handed to us in the 01-02 playoffs to the blues in game 3 and we beat them in 5. Course we have panicked now in two games after being up 2-0... really weird but i really really hope this is fixed cause it is very strange and odd!!

Yea he kinda reminds me of Mathieu Dandenault... very fast but that is it lol.. Course imo Dandy was a little bit better. Could throw him in the game as a winger or Dman.

LOL Anyways yea!! Go Wings!!! I'm just hoping for at least 1 game won in Nashville. We have been up 2-0 before in past playoff series and vs the preds in the past and saw what happened so.. i really hope we can win game 3 and IMO game 3 is a must win! Course Dom was not here for those playoffs upsets in the first round in the past eh? Haha go Wings Go Dom! Take us to the promise land again!

Awesome story and i would also love to play Mac and Ozzie in some xbox 360 live action hehe. This part made me sad though. (McCarty, meanwhile, is busy reconnecting with his ex-wife Cheryl and their four kids after spending the last two years in Calgary.) From what it sounds Mac is really cleaning himself up and i pray He and his ex wife and children will one day be back together in a home all together.

Not all fans of the game are the same. Yes i know what you mean but some fans are more reserved and like to apreciate the game and just sit there and enjoy what is going on. You take for example the Wrestling fans in Japan. They put on some of the best matches there ever and the fans are calm and respectful and will only clap if something really cool happened like a certain move or submission hold. There educated fans who have seen it all and don't tweak out over everything and spill beer everywhere and cuss. Or scream and get in the way of other people's sight of the spectacle. When we score i go yesssss or yaaaaaa!! Or when an awesome save happens i will get a bit eccentric but other than that i sit back and apreciate what I'm seeing and am taking in the awesome scenery and everything when i went to the few games i was at. Not everybody is the same and also remember there are children and older people in the audience who most likely dont wanna war zone or overly loud and annoying people yelling and screaming next to them.

Wow some great playoff action this year! Course it is every year but NHL playoffs is so freaking awesome and exciting! I really want Montreal vs Detroit! Can you imagine? Anyways yea unfortunately im gonna have to root for the Avs as well and that bites because well it's the Avs...bleh.. and i love minnesota! Ah well here is hoping we beat the Preds and pray the Ducks and Sharks beat the living crap outta eachother in the 2nd round! (Maybe stars have a chance at beating the Ducks? Prob not lol...)

I actually would have wanted to play calgary because i know mentally it would have made the wings feel like they should play at the top of there game. But they better not take Nashville lightly or we will be out faster than a bowl of jelly beans being devoured by an ant eater who has a strange craving for sweets. Anyhoo I'm hoping we sweep them.. but I'm gonna go with Wings in 6.

Although i do agree we should be in the East so we can play awesome teams like Toronto and the Canadiens. I love it watching games at 10 10:30 pm cause i have to work all the time and the only games i can catch are the 10 10:30 one's.

Dom all the way! The only thing that worries me in the playoffs is the refs. Kinda like puckaloo said in a previous thread... How many goals are they gonna take away from us? That game tying goal that Homer scored vs the Ducks when we last played them that they took away nearly had me throw my tv outta the window and watch it explode!!! They have taken quite a few goals away from Holmstrom this year too if im not mistaken...

Well what do you want me to say? Maybe we are screwed but there has to be something better out there lol. I think we should trade for a solid goalie then. Depending on who it is I'm sure he won't completely collapse like Ozzie. Osgood on a cup contending team scares me and Howard who I'm weary about as well is our so called young and up and coming future tender. I just think we are too good to have a descent goalie as our #1 for the next few years. Goaltending is very important in the playoffs and no offense but imo Osgood does not cut it. Now is it more important to have Howard backing up or Osgood? Does nothing for Ozzie and could potentially help Howard improve and develop. There are many many goalies i would take over Ozzie. I think Ozzie is an awesome backup but with our team and Howard potentially on the rise i don't see where Osgood fits in. sorry...
