I think everyone that is a Wings fan is not only trying to be logical but is emotional as well too!
-
I remember crying in 1994 when the Wings lost...now that I am a grown man...I don't want to cry like a little kid again tomorrow.
-
I can only hope that justice prevails and the wings pound the ducks in game 7 for their cheap, ass hole moves from the end of game 6.
-
Time to worry? I would have rather lost in 5 games to the ducks than to lose in 7 at home.
-
No no, the wings had too many men, they got lucky they didn't go to the box.
-
Let's just drop the puck, I haven't had a good panic attack in a couple nights!
-
hey, give Dave Straider a break, he use to be our play by play guy before Ken Daniels!
-
I laughed out loud so hard on that. MY buddy and I were saying it makes no logical sense why he is there.
-
Loft? Did you see that shot?! no goalie would have stopped that.
-
Did you watch the game? no one would have stopped that goal. Ozzie kept them in this game so go find a new scape goat.

WCQF GAME 4 GDT: Red Wings 6 at Blue Jackets 5

As a goalie myself growing up and also a follower of the wings, I think it is a groin strain and they probably gave him a shot between the 2nd and 3rd periods. Also, as I mentioned to a friend of mine last night and tonight, during game 3, Osgood twisted funny on a save during the second period. He was down and FSN went to commercial and when they came back Ken Daniels said it took Osgood a minute to get up from that. I am convinced it was that play where he tweaked his groin. -
According to Ken and Mickey, this game did end up selling out. Not bad for a state with an unemployment rate of roughly 14% Also, yeah, the "buzz" may not be exactly as it was in 1997 or 2002, but lets face it, there's always bandwagon fans in all sports in all cities, and I think we saw a lot of them around those two cups. I think the core of hockey in Detroit still is as passionate as ever and I think given the times we are dealing with now, whether it's a packed arena, a corner bar or your buddies living room, Detroit still breathes Red Wing hockey.

Days after breaking the NHL victory record, Devils goalie Martin Brodeur was dealt an alimony setback by a New Jersey appeals court. The court ruled that Brodeur must pay his former wife $500,000 a year until 2020, the year his youngest child will graduate from high school. The couple married in August 1995. According to court records, the marriage ended after Brodeur admitted to having an affair with his sister-in-law, who was living with the Brodeurs to help take care of their four children. DuBois filed for divorce in May 2003. full article: http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=3997788

I posted this because he always seemed like such an upstanding guy and I was really shocked that he was the cheating type.

"Claude Lemieux, San Jose Sharks: The Stanley Cup-winning machine and pest supreme hasn't played in the NHL since the 2002-03 season, but thinks he's still got it, even at the ripe old age of 43. San Jose signed him to an American Hockey League deal and he's tallied five points in 10 games for Worcester." Espn.com report

This site is out of control sometimes

The fans are trying to afford a roof over their head andfood in their stomachs. The fact that Michigan is about to lose 90,000 more jobs in 2009 isn't going to make it any better.
