In case you all missed it..... earlier this year, it was reported that ESPN and the NHL have been in talks about having a TV contract in the near future. It might be structured somewhat similar to the NBA's deal with TNT & ESPN. NHL would split games between ESPN & Versus. I'd be all for that. Any takers?

I have been talking with some avid wings fans, and the majority has agreed that Chris Osgood is playing the best hockey of his career, looking more well rounded than he ever has. Agree/Disagree? Do you see Osgood having a career year if Hasek spends a lot of time on the shelf this year?

Melrose made a public apology for his comments about the New Jersey Devils arena/outside of it, stating: "beautiful new building" but added, "Don't go outside if you have a wallet or anything else, because the area around the arena is just horrible."
