This trade coming so quick after the Yandle trade, makes me wonder if the Cole trade was a direct response to the Rangers trade. -

Pav might be 36 but he's no ordinary 36, the guy is still a top player. We finally have a guy who can provide space for Pav, and you want to move him to the 3rd line? I agreed with you on last years overpayment,but this is not over paying. It's a good trade. -

Completely agree. We can't make trades without giving anyone up, it just doesn't work that way. I just hope this doesn't turn into another Jarnkrok trade, where these guys are mentioned in every thread. Cole is still a good player and will create lots of space for Pav to maneuver. I call this trade a winner, no matter what happens going forward. -

On a side note, anyone else sick of Fisher constantly being referred to as Carrie Underwood's husband? I mean we're watching a hockey game, not the E channel, I'm sure everyone knows who Fisher is.

They "let them play" early, and then start calling soft penalties. Sometimes The officiating just baffles me.
