It's in their contract that they have to play with each other for life, it's in there along with their NTC's.

The PK has been good, but Drew isn't the only reason. Z, Glendening, Abby, Miller, Pav (when he returns), Sheahan, Helm, Andersson, all these guys can kill penalties. Like I mentioned earlier I like Drew, but there is a lot of PK redundancy on the roster- we could use some more diversity. Be it Miller, Andersson, or Glendening- one needs to be replaced for a scorer.

I can see Babs wanting more autonomy if he re-signs, which might be the reason a extension hasn't happened yet.

With almost no one around the lower bowl would give you a crazy good view.

Fans are fickle by nature, it's just something I've grown used to. There's a joke in there somewhere, but I don't think it would be appropriate for this forum.

Constructive criticism is not the same as complaining. Just because it's early doesn't mean we should hide our collective heads in the sand and pretend all the Wings problems have gone away. Will the team be better as the season goes on? We'll see, but as the team stands right now it's badly in need of offensive creativity. We had three glorious chances to score and all three went directly into the goaltender.
