I'd much rather seem the adopt a 4 on 4 play than bigger nets. Open things up, make the game faster... OT periods are some of the best hockey around. Granted it's OT...but I love watching 4 on 4.

What was the deal the other nigh in San Jose when Downey got in that fight? Anyone notice how he was patting the ref on the back and then when he got in the box, he called the ref back to give him a fist-knock high-five. It was kinda funny, almost like they were old buddies and in on the whole thing together. I was cracking up. Wonder what that was all about?

I'm watching the game from home in NorCal tonight. I know this has been beat to death here on the forum, but I just can't get over the crowd in Vancouver. Wow they are so into the game, it's pretty cool. Every shot gets a great reaction. It's almost like a playoff game. In contrast, It's really hard seeing the Joe so empty and quiet. I wish our home games were like this... Did anyone see that one spectator giving Draper the business when he took that penalty in the first period? He was all up on the glass yelling through the crack. Pretty funny. -Mike
