At work... is this being streamed anywhere?

Haven't seen this posted anywhere yet. http://www.foxsportsdetroit.com/01/16/13/Video-blog-Bogosian-in-Wings-future/landing_redwings.html?blockID=850307&feedID=3569

All reports say he wants to play for a contender and Detroit isn't one with their current defense.
-
If the rumor is true then it may be a move to pressure Parise but I doubt that would work anyway. It might just be a sign that Kenny isn't willing to handcuff the team to two players for twelve years; which I agree with. I'm more concerned about Suter and having something left to trade if they can't sign him.
-
Wings Putting Together MEGA Nash Deal..Parise close? As I rpeorted a few days ago, the Wings were going to get in on Nash big time and now I am hearing they have. However, I was also told they wouldn't go to Nash unless Parise was off the market...Is Parise off the market? http://www.hockeybuzz.com/boards/thread.php?thread_id=99506&forum_id=73

I agree. Wouldn't want to give up too much but clearing Hudler's cap hit and adding Semin's would still leave us a few million for Emery, Turco or Conklin and the picks are always so low it's not a big deal. Hopefully they don't want Kindl though.
-
I guess I'll take Drury off the wish list.
-
Thanks. I don't understand why they won't spend any more this summer on a few one-year deals or trading for an expiring contract unless they really believe they can get him at the deadline. If they don't get him it was a waste of cap space and if they do they'll have to give up a lot for a guy who's a rental player until you actually re-sign him. I hope Weber is here but since we have a decent defense now, I would focus on a couple top six forwards and make a play for Weber in free agency.
-
I refuse to pay for unreliable "inside" information, was there any reason this was speculated like a source or did somebody just think its somebody he might be doing?
-
First Holland trades Hudler and Kindl for Semin. Next sends Stuart, Cleary and Mursak to Nashville for Weber. Then signs Drury and Emery.
-
Nabakov or Emery.....if it's not Conklin. God save us if it's Ozzie.
-
No offense to Holmstrom but I don't think he needs to be on the ice with Datsyuk or Zetterberg unless it's on the PP. I'm not saying Kenny needs to go out and get AO or Nash, just somebody who can skate and shoot the puck. And with Cleary, I'd prefer him on the third line with Filppula and Holmstrom if we get two more forwards; we could have three legit scoring lines that way.
-
I don't see why it would be such a big risk if it was for $1.5 million. I would rather have Zherdev and Drury both but wouldn't be upset at all if they brought him in. Sometimes you have to take a risk. I know people like cap space but who do you realistically think they would trade for? I just feel like there aren't any guarantees at the deadline and would rather have guys with something to prove aside from simply playing for next years contract.
-
Our D is pretty locked up so I'd rather go after Stamkos. Maybe Stevie will give him to us at a friends discount for say Hudler, a back rub and Griffins season tickets (upper bowl).
-
I thought about him to but would rather add a speedy free agent winger like Zherdev or trade for Semin. If they did sign him I would rather him be the third line center and move Filppula up a line or shift Arnott to Dats or Z's wing. He definitely couldn't be on the same line as Bertuzzi though unless you were sending Arnott, Abs, Bertuzzi, White and Commodore out to kill somebody.
-
For a one year deal between $1.5-2 million he could be a steal if he's healthy. He didn't get bought out because he sucks, it was because he wasn't worth his salary especially because he wasn't healthy. Do it Kenny.
-
I think on a line with Z and Mule he can be. If Holland gets a couple guys who can skate with the top 2 lines it helps spread the talent to the 3rd line. For what ever it would cost to get a guy like him or Drury I think it's worth the risk because you still have a ton a cap space at the deadline, especially if they can move Hudler. If they don't produce on the top line 2 lines he can move to Flips wing.

Bertuzzi - Datsyuk - Zherdev ($2 million) Franzen - Zetterberg - Langenbrunner ($2 million) Cleary - Filppula - Holmstrom Abdelkader - Helm - Eaves Miller Mursak Yeah....I know

Putting Ericsson/Kindl/Commodore on the same pairing would be a disaster. The first two aren't experienced enough to be on a line together and Ericsson and Commodore would be the slowest defense pair in the league. White was most likely signed to play with Lids because of his right handed shot too so expect them to be paired. Aside from the top pair, Kronwall and Stuart should be split up based on their experience and the skating ability of Commodore and Ericsson. There needs to be somebody more skilled to cover for errors by Ericsson, Commodore and Kindl. This looks like a very steady defensive corps and I love the signings of White and Commodore. Lidstrom - White Kronwall - Ericsson Stuart - Commodore/Kindl

Love it. First The Commodore, now The Moustache at dirt cheap (for both). Drop Hudler for a 3rd round and we're back to $10 million in cap space. Next move I would go for the trifecta with Konopka, then go hard after a veteran winger like Langebrunner and back up goalie like Conklin or Turco. Say what you want about Commodore and White but I think they have the POTENTIAL to be real good additions and there was virtually no risk. I'm so glad they didn't sign Wisniewski at his ridiculous asking price since we we pretty much got the same player for half of it. Great job, Kenny! -
This thread assumes Holland isn't looking for a top defenseman. Current roster: Lidstrom - Ericsson Kronwall - Stuart Kindl - Commodore Smith Possible: Lidstrom - Kaberle/White/Bogosian/Yandle/Bouwmeester Kronwall - Ericsson Stuart - Commodore/Kindl

Any scenario where we get rid of Hudler and bring back Bogosian would be great. Most likely Atlanta will want way more than that for him especially after seeing what free agents have been getting paid. And for Hudler, we can only hope someone will give us a mid-round pick for him because it seems (IMO) like nobody wants to trade a player for him unless it's a bad contract. At this point my free agent wish list includes 1.Ian White (4 years at $3.8-4.5 million per season seems reasonable), 4.Anton Babchuk, 3.Zenon Konopka and 2.Tim Connolly; White and Connolly or Konopka would fill the teams needs and Conklin or Turco could back up Howie plus we keep our picks and prospects. Judging by the teams needs and comments by Holland I imagine he's working on something big because he has never went in to a season with a team with so many holes. Kindl and Larsson probably won't get moved. The Wings need Kindl because his skill still exceeds his salary and if Larsson is willing to play in North America and is that good then he'll be backing up Howard. Any trade scenario including them would have to bring back equal parts and the money would be way off. Love the trade scenario but this market has been jacked and crappy teams with RFA's may be over valueing their young talent knowing teams are desperate. Teams will be looking for draft picks and players like: Tatar, Mursak, McCollum, Almqvist, Nicastro, etc
