It's possible but I couldn't see the Wings bringing him up with Helm and letting Downey, DMac, and Drake go leave when they can still contribute and play for cheap.

He really got in Nashvilles heads the last few games. I can tell he's been working with some of the younger guys this year on how to agitate other teams. I honestly didn't understand signing him in the first half of the year but he's become a leader for the Wings and I hope he'll be back another year if there's a spot for him.

If we could afford him and a second line scorer (Feds or Prospal) I'd do it. I love this switching aound our top 4 pairings, I think it really throws off other teams when you switch them around cuz u gotta keep your head up all the time. I love our D now and theres so much talent waiting to move up too. P.S. Lilja needs to come back for Lebda if we play the avs.

He is a fourth liner because he is a habitual underachiever. He has a lot of potential like Flip but can't finish plays as much as he should and he passes when he should shoot. He's like a lot of our players who only get hot for one or two games and then nothing for another two or three games. I think this is Babcock challenging him to work for a spot because he knows he can be better but he lost faith in his lazy play at the beginning of the year.

I really liked Helm today. I don't think Sammy should sit out for a guy with out his legs yet. Maltby won't be 100% until next year and the last thing we need is a guy his age playing 80-90%. I'd switch btwn him and Mac.

Life is about doing what's right for yourself and taking advantage of every opportunity possible. This guy might never make any money in the NHL after his first contract or he might make millions more. It just sucks because if there was no salary cap we could cut throats to get the guy but probably won't even care about him if there wasn't one. I still hope he gives Detroit a shot but I don't see it happening unless something changes again.

Nill is one of the best people we have in scouting raw, unproven talent it would be a big loss. Plus I don't think Stevie's ready but he will be soon. I hope they do the best for themselves as everyone should, there's just some opportunities too good to pass up.

I watched that play unfold and the part where he lifted the guys stick seemed like it was in slo-mo to me and once the puck went to Kronner it was fast forward. Nice job Flip. I am so glad he's a Wing and it seems like his skills seem a little Pavelesk in nature. Hopefully in a few years he'll be close if he keeps improving like he has been. Now it's time for Hudler to catch up and realize his potential to.

That's why Drew is on at 9:30am on Saturday and can't get his own show like he's dieing for. He's been bashing Ozzie for the past few days and can't even give him credit now.

This is terrible. At the beginning of the season I would have rather played with 5 dmen instead of Lilja being out there but I can admit he's improved, Lebda hasn't. Lebda brings nothing and I'll never like him unless he scores a couple tonight and than it will only be for a few seconds cuz he sucks and needs to go. TRADE HIM so Babs can't make this mistake again. Other than that I would put Downey in for obvious reasons.

AO +Me = man crush He's everything you want in a franchise player. He could be on any team he wanted if he entered free agency. There aren't many other players (that aren't already Wings) in the league I would tie to my team for that much money for that long except him and maybe Nash or Malkin. I couldn't imagine what he would do on a line with Pav and Z. I'd love to see Pitt and Washington go at it and face one of them for the cup. I like a lot of Phillys players but collectively they can disgust me. I can't say they suck but I have a hard time watching them play if I don't like the team they're playing. Go Caps!

I know someone (a relative) who has witnessed him treat people like turds numerous times. And I'm talking about fans and people minding their own business not harassing him or asking for it. Most (not all) of this started after he lost his spot but that doesn't make it right. He's still tradeable lets just do it before we can't get rid of him and get nothing cuz I don't see them re-signing him cuz they don't need him.

I'd rather sign Stuart for cheaper trade off Hudler and sign Feds or Prospal for cheap if this guy makes the biggest mistake of his life and goes to vancouver. I'm more worried about keeping Z and signing a proven NHL player than someone who may become a fourth liner. But honestly I'd be happy if he came here *cuz Grigorenko's gonna need a linemate next year.*

Couldn't agree more, the guys a jerk anyway and it would benefit him and us if he left. His trade value will never be higher and if Stuart stays which I don't think is likely, they'll need the space because all there top players in GR are dmen better than Lebda. The only thing they could try here or somewhere else is put him on a wing if he's needed like Meech did. I don't feel bad for the guy but if anyone got screwed it was Downey.

Hank/Homer/Cleary Pav/Franzen/Flip Draper/Sammy/Drake Hudler/Abs/Mac or Downey No more Hartigan please and Hudler shouldn't been on the ice on the pp. I threw in Abdelkader cuz I saw him last night at Chelis and on the forth line with Hudler and Mac it would add some offense and grit that Hartigan hasn't brought.

Well as of reports last night during HNIC sounds like he's going to Vancunter. Didn't hear entire report but sounds like he's going for ice time and maybe the $$$$
