wow, classy response. anybody who applauds injuries deserves one of their own and seriously who wants to see a career (no matter how drawn out) ended by injuries. even though i wish he had hung them up after last season i would never wish for him to get a career ending injury. any self-respecting person would keep such a dumbass comment to themselves.

haha what luck, he's probably gonna start flinching every time a d-man winds up now. he had that similar injury last year off an aucoin shot. he should really get some new shin pads because i bet he just tapes a couple sears catalogues to his legs and goes.

ive got to admit that when Strombolopoulos (i swear to God if one person corrects me on this spelling attempt!!! :battle:) was on MuchMusic i hated him mostly for his holier than thou approach to punk music but he seems pretty good as an interviewer on The Hour. i purposely avoided this show like the plague and made fun of my friends for watching it but ive actually seen some pretty good interviews on there recently and im amazed at the star power he manages to get on his relatively new show. kudos George but we all know canada's best show is kenny vs spenny or trailer park boys (despite what CBC would have you believe, it is not Little Mosque on the Prairie).

definitely a misleading title. cherry really doesnt bash him at all and i can remember him singing AO's praises a bunch of times so i really think he was just offering an opinion a lot of other people share. he only takes a shot at euros and the reporter admits he was laughing as he said it.

The Leafs offered a conditional first round draft pick in 2009 along with two prospects. To stay in the hunt for John Tavares, Victor Hedman or one of the projected top 5 players in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Toronto attached a condition that would guarantee the pick the Ducks received couldn't be higher than 6th. According to a secondary source, Bobby Ryan is a young player the Toronto Maple Leafs are very eager to acquire and Schneider had to be included in the package to give Anaheim cap relief. It's likely, had the deal gone through, Toronto would have aggressively tried to trade the veteran defenseman for a draft pick. Ryan, now 21-years-old was drafted second overall in 2005 behind Sidney Crosby and is considered ready to step into the NHL.
