is this supposed to be a joke?? he would be out of his mind to take 6 million and being dedicated to your team is one thing but its another to forfeit 1.5 million or more per season. the guy is worth more than 6 million and he should be paid accordingly. zetter should get his due and leave the rest to management to make it work. hopefully his contract will be similar to hossa (7.4), thornton (7.2), iginla (7 million) or heatley (7.5) type money.

there are rumours that the hawks are after a veteran centreman to replace lang. nylander has been mentioned a few times as a possibility.

wow....no gonchar and no whitney should hurt their PP a bit but that will be the least of their worries. should be interesting to see how the team responds when their top 2 defensemen are out.

i just came across this article in the Toronto Star and Yzerman is once again talking about exploring his options a little. Personally I completely understand where the guy is coming from and wish him well as long as he doesnt go to a rival. i really cant imagine a visor having any impact on nick lidstrom's play. at 98% he is still the best.

if he went to ottawa i dont know what i would do. i think i would have to corner him somewhere after stalking him so i could give him a stern talking to. i despise ottawa.

i thought for sundin the mindset was "i dont want to be a rental player and only play half the season. i would never join a team partway through a season because i want to be there from beginning to end."

i know just the man for the job. we need jesse boulerice now! MAKE IT HAPPEN KENNY! on a side note, i saw the scoresheet for his game last night and sure enough he had a fight and was thrown out of the game for a hit from behind.
