i wholeheartedly agree! ive been watching games from every series and i swear the JLA is one of the quietest. montreal wins by a mile for volume, boston has been good, washington is completely insane! philly sounded decent, msg and the rock were pretty loud, i saw game 3 in ottawa and it started out rocking, even with that stupid gladiator. our 3rd and 4th line guys especially love it when the crowd is going wild and i can only imagine how d-mac will react. MAKE SOME GODDAMN NOISE!!!!

babs isnt stupid, ozzie will be in because hasek is playing some godawful hockey right now. i thought he might come into tonights game all pissed off or something and dominate but apparently not. pitiful.

the nhl wont suspend him! the first one he jumped and elbowed the guy in the head, obviously good enough for a 2 minute penalty. the second one trotz is absolutely right, bonk saw him coming and tried to bend down to avoid the hit which meant kronwall got him in the head and went over top of him which made it look like he left his feet. if bonk hadve taken the hit standing up it would have been a big clean hit.

I WAS THERE! it was brutal. and every time there was a penalty kill, he would reappear on the big screen screaming "SENS ARMY! ITS TIME TO RISE UP AND DEFEND! and then he and his similarly dressed friends would do this bit where they yelled "defend!" a bunch. it was so terrible and annoying. they had one for powerplays too. every seat had one of those inflatable noisemakers you bang together shaped like a sword. i swear the SENS ARMY is the weakest and lamest group ive ever heard of.

exactly! so many people on here do not understand that there is no need for a new rule to be created. avery is obviously very effective and for a while there i thought maybe he would grow up but i guess i was wrong. shanny must despise this kid and i love how drury comes over and is like "dude, please stop making a mockery of the game" in the middle of his wild performance. veterans HATE these types of players and i imagine it was guys like shanahan, chelios, yzerman who wanted avery the hell out of detroit.

i would love to see hockey fans come up with some sweet chants that are team-specific a la soccer but it just doesnt seem to happen with our sport.

detroit has played well but obviously we have had some VERY lucky bounces and even luckier calls. its hockey, we complain when they go against us and we complain when the other teams fans complain about us being lucky. ill take it.

yelling at goaltenders is as old as hockey itself regardless of how well they are playing. yelling "***" is classless unless you are referring to patrick swayze in youngblood because that movie is awesome. basically im drunk as hell and ole ole ole is a soccer chant montreal fans!
