as a leafs fan im not sure how i feel about this trade....im no fan of steen but in years past, the few times where carlo strung some games together where he wasnt injured i liked him. and lee stempniak? is that really the best they could do? the trade almost seems like a wash and seriously whats with the timing? is fletcher fighting to keep his job? haha i know that doesnt make sense either but i should really quit trying to understand what the hell theyre doing over there.

please tell me this isnt another conspiracy theory where everyone is conspiring against the wings. i didnt like the penalty because i felt there should have been one against whoever tackled Z 20 seconds earlier but still, 5pts. the worst part is now im going to get it from all my stupid canucks fan friends (HOW COULD ANYONE LIKE THAT TEAM?!). trevor linden?! please.

I just came across this article and I found it interesting albeit very unlikely. Obviously Michael Phelps seems like a pretty easy choice to win this award but I felt it at least might raise a debate on LGW since we're all pretty big homers. Anyone else you think might be a favourite for the Sportsman of the Year Honour? Tiger Woods? (although personally I couldnt care less about him limping at the US Open since I am a hockey fan) Maybe Usain Bolt? SI article

haha i was laughing the whole time, the dirty mustache is too much. they should definitely just photoshop that out! i was watching pitts and vancouver today and i was screaming at crosby nonstop. its amazing how far my hatred for him has gone in a year. A YEAR WHERE DETROIT WON THE STANLEY CUP!!!! (now im pumped up...and drunk).

matthias is gone...lookup bertuzzi trade. edit: when i saw this kid play for team canada at the juniors he quickly became my favourite non wing and i have followed his career ever since. site unseen i want to see rufenach because he is from my hometown.

methinks ron maclean is not a big fan of his style of play. haha i think he is pretty funny to watch because for the most part he isnt dirty but just physical and annoying as all hell. his hit on lapierre was bad but that stupid look on his face all the time is priceless and the chewing on the jersey? the guy looks like he should be in a padded room.
