  1. Just out of curiosity, why isn't Dish Network having this problem?

Is their contract with Comcast not up yet?

I called DirecTV yesterday to complain about Versus and asked them that same question. He said that Dish Network's contract with Versus is not up until January. Whether it's true or not, I don't know...but that was his excuse.

  4. Tickets range from $10 in the upper bowl to $150 for lower bowl, center ice. Presale is going on today...I got the $75 tix just to the side of Center Ice and about 8 rows up...I actually had to ask for a higher row because I like being above the glass. It's not the Wings, but at least it's hockey. :)

  5. A friend of ours has what we call "fake ice" in his basement. He and his 2 sons are goalies on local leagues so it gets used a lot...it's harder to skate on (but keep in mind, I'm quite the amateur skater), but when I go from that to real ice it's easier to get up more speed. There's also an outdoor public rink in Great Bend, KS with synthetic ice. It's not cheap but now my husband seems to think we need it...
